Assigns responsibility to executing project plans for key subordinates and assesses how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.</span></li><li><span>Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates. Promotes technical excellence as well as the improvement of the Quality Improvement Process. Mobilizes Company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work. Works with individual lead discipline engineer to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.</span></li><li><span>Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule. Works with individual lead discipline to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. </span></p><br><ul><li><span>Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.</span></li><li><span>MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Lead the Project Services team, including Senior Cost Engineer, Senior Planning Engineer, and Senior Document Controller, to deliver cost management, budget control, planning and scheduling, contracts administration, accounts payable, document control, project reporting, and general administrative services. Ensure the successful and timely execution of the FEED and EPIC stages for the Crude Oil Stabilisation, Zero routine flaring, and OFFRAG Pipeline Project, within budget and in line with project requirements.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Minimum 18 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 8 years in a senior project control role. <p>The Engineering Logistics Portal (ELP) Operator will be responsible for the management of all Typhoon repairable assets which have failed at Forward and require tasking via the ELP process. The post holder will supervise of all assets as they pass through the Quality Gate, Engineering Tasking and Repair Scheduling. Directly interfacing with the Part M engineer, Repairs Inventory Planner and Part M Repair Scheduler. Core Activities: Completion of activities Ensure all ML2/ML4 activities and transactions are appropriately documented and maintained on the IMS system. Support daily activities including facilitation, deputation and management of reviews where necessary. Provide effective demand management for all ML2/ML4 activities by meeting delivery targets, monitoring and reviewing performance against contractual KPI s . Ensure any shortfalls are identified, resolved or escalated where necessary. Support the team, and compile appropriate reporting mechanisms to identify any issues, resolve or escalate as appropriate. They will also be responsible for the facilitation, deputation and management of reviews where necessary. Ensure that department procedures and processes are in place and adopted to ensure safe working. Management and maintenance of effective working relationships with all stakeholders. Liaison with (and provide specialist advice and guidance to) inventory planning, procurement, engineering, finance and line/bay maintenance in order to overcome supply and demand problems, liaison also extends to service providers and partners. Analysis and interpretation of usage and transaction data to identify repetitive problems and inform appropriate stakeholders and where appropriate support the implementation of any corrective action. Hold regular Repair Reviews to ensure that items are delivered back to the internal customers in line with these requirements. The post holder will be required to use performance data and metrication to highlight successes and potential issues to senior management. Ensure both internal and external customers receive the level of service expected of business KPIs; specifically the QEAF Typhoon Fleet receives what they need on time and to the highest quality. Support the analysis and interpretation of Supply Chain data to identify repetitive problems and inform appropriate stakeholders. Where appropriate, support the implementation of any corrective action. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Responsible and accountable to review, comment, and approve construction execution and related procedure specifications, and deliverables prepared by the Contractor.</p><p>Leadership and "one team" behaviour towards the Contractor and its Subcontractors to achieve Project objectives.</p><p>Proactive engagement with Field Engineering to influence technical decisions to better achieve flawless construction execution and transition to commissioning.</p><p>Work in a dynamic team environment that has high expectations for flawless Project Execution in safety, quality, cost and schedule performance, which requires the incumbent to demonstrate capacity to take the workload, work with accuracy, take initiatives, be inventive and have the ability to multi-task.</p><p>Work effectively within established procedures and participate in meetings and workshops (e.g. weekly and monthly meetings, 3D Model reviews, Constructability, Construction and Completion Sequence Reviews).</p><p>Strong ability to influence others, who are not in direct reporting line, to achieve Project objectives.</p><p>Bring solutions and provide support but not "micro-manage" or generate unnecessary work to the PMT or the Contractor.</p><p>Be inventive to bring technical and execution solutions that favor safe construction execution and transition to commissioning activities.</p><p>Facilitate periodic meetings with the Project Management Team and Contractors as necessary.</p><p>Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Construction Superintendent or Construction Division Manager and deal with ad-hoc requests related to project operational and project logistics activities.</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering.</p><p>Minimum of eight (8) years' experience with large projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil and Gas Industry, including one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.</p><p>Experience in Project Execution, with a strong background in fabrication, construction and management of large green field construction activities.</p><p>Technical background as a Discipline Engineer, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Construction Superintendent or Construction Manager with solid Project Execution experience.</p><p>Experience with multi-cultural type Projects.</p><p>Experience with LNG Projects.</p><p>Good organizational, planning, communication, and execution skills</p><p>Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP)</p><p>Developed coordination and planning skills</p><p>Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with several organizational levels</p><p></p></section>
