<p>Department DRILLING & COMPLETIONS Primary Purpose of the Job Provide technical leadership and engineering support for the planning, design, and execution of drilling and workover operations. Responsible for developing safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling programs, supporting rig operations, managing operational risks, coordinating with stakeholders and contractors, and ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with company standards, procedures, and HSE requirements.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 15 years Drilling Operations Engineering experience with an Operating Company</li><li>Skill in well design, tubular design, completions, wellbore construction, drilling fluids, well control, and a good understanding of geology.</li><li>Fully conversant with and ability to use drilling engineering software such as: Compass Well Plan Stress Check and Casing Seat or similar commercially available programs.</li><li>Energy and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding performance and going above and beyond normal expectations.</li><li>Ability to make the correct operational decisions based on systematic analysis with rigorous attention to detail.</li><li>Bachelor of Science (3-4 year) Engineering Degree from an accredited university, preferably Petroleum Engineering.</li></ul>

Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in the Middle East. They are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer from an industrial construction background to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Overseeing the electrical engineering design works for large-scale industrial buildings and power plant construction
• Reviewing and advising on technical specifications of the electrical equipment, and ensuring the constructability of design packages
• Coordinating with the construction teams
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and regulations</p><p>PROFILE
• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering
• At least 12 years of experience in similar roles on industrial or power construction projects
• Experienced in the design of electrical equipment for large-scale building complexes
• Strong familiarity with electrical safety codes and regulations in the GCC region
• Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office
• Excellent communication skills in English
