This role serves as the field-level focal point for inspection supervision and reporting functionally to the QA/QC Engineer. Key Job Accountabilities 1.Confirm effective implementation of the QELNG quality management system and  project quality plan 2. Fully conversant with QELNG discipline specific, facility related technical specification requirements. 3. Review contractors’ quality deliverables in accordance with the requirements and expectations of QELNG and provide clear, concise output to the contractor’s quality focal point. 4. Engage contractors and applicable third-party organisations with a professional approach and maintain a good working level relationship. 5. Ensure that contractor processes and procedures are properly and effectively implemented. 6. Perform material/ equipment site receipt inspection with additional visual and dimensional examination (where practical) to confirm suitability and fit for purpose. 7. Conduct site installation, testing, calibration inspections to confirm product and process quality in line with established quality and technical documents. 8.Ensure that the latest revision of project quality documentation is available, and that records of product and process conformance are maintained in accordance with the document and record control requirements. 9. Prepare a daily report summarising the salient inspection points and quality concerns and coordinate directly with the assigned quality focal point regarding any significant issues identified. 10. Manage and participate in site quality verification activities (i.e. Quality Walkabout, Surveillance and Audit) and document the outcomes using the applicable inspection report template. 11. Record and facilitate the follow-up and close-out of identified non-conformances. 12. Act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of QELNG project management team to ensure that quality requirements and expectations are fully satisfied. 13. Familiar with Industrial Control Systems software and processes 14. Familiar with Electrical systems such as LV and MV equipment, motors, transformers, switchgears, PDBs, CTs, Relays, UPS, battery bank, lighting fixtures, receptacles and small power panels 15. Familiar with Instrumentation and Control systems such as DCS, ESD, PLCs and Cabinet integration instruments and transmitters like pressure, Diff pressure, level, flow, RTD & thermocouples with thermowells, gauges, analysers and instrument tubing etc. Profile Electrical Engineering Diploma, or suitable equivalent plus Trade Certificates in Electrical and/ or Instrumentation Familiar with electrical and instrumentation specific codes and standards (e.g. IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, ATEX/ IECEX-60079. etc.). Shall be capable of trouble shooting, maintaining, repairing and overhauling large size pumps, compressors, blowers, diesel engines, generators. Experience in commissioning of equipment and Projects. Provide clear guidance to the Contractors during FEED and EPC phases and facilitate resolution of related issues to complete discipline activities consistent with project objectives and milestones. Key Job Accountabilities 1.Support project lifecycle management by identifying HSE deliverables and actions at each phase of the project (FEED, EPC, Commissioning, Operations, etc.). This includes highlighting specific items of equipment/spare parts which require Maintenance Workshop involvement, assessing resources, material and logistic requirements. • Quality Control Measures for all Maintenance-related activities using checklist. • Organizing skills to form a team of Valve technicians during any major Shutdowns and Turnarounds • Capable of understanding valve data sheets, assembly drawings and cross sectional drawings. • Capable of understanding control valve testing procedure as per leakage class • Identification of Spare parts and prioritization, and Select the right size & types of tools. • Direct Mechanical maintenance related works, provide routine onsite supervision, checks work progress of subordinates and provide guidance / direction to technician in solving complex problem. • Review work notifications, plans execution, manages work orders and ensures PPM compliance and records are updated in SAP, filed & signed as appropriate. • Co-ordinates remedial actions for faults encountered. Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience with at least 5 years supervisory level on field equipment in diversified oil & gas processing or petrochemical plants. PRV workshop Experience is Mandatory. Computer Skills: Computer literate with knowledge of SAP and commonly used Microsoft business software packages required. English Language Skills: Good written and oral communication skills in English. Certification: Certificate from a specialist Bolting Company as a Torque machine operator. Job Specific Requirements: • Good knowledge and troubleshooting of Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems. • Experience and knowledge in the troubleshooting, maintenance, overhaul, temporary repairs and commissioning stationary equipment such as Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Steam Traps, Piping Systems, Process Valves, Conveyor Belt System, Filters, etc. • Good knowledge in Rotating equipment such as turbo-machinery maintenance and troubleshooting on gas and steam turbines, compressors (centrifugal and reciprocating), pumps, mechanical seals, gear box, fans and blowers and other machinery related equipment / devices such as gearbox, etc. • Able to carry out measurements, rotating equipment alignment (dial & laser). رئاسة اجتماعات ما قبل الفحص لضمان فهم وتنفيذ متطلبات الجودة وتوقعاتها قبل بدء أنشطة العمل</li><li>تنسيق أنشطة فحص الموقع (أرض/بحر) وورشة العمل وتعيين موارد فحص كافية من الشركة لقياس الامتثال للمتطلبات
