Open Ministry of Defence procurement relationships in Qatar from scratch. Lead bids, proposals and tenders through to signature, not just pipeline. Support expansion into additional Gulf markets alongside the core Qatar mandate. Represent the company at regional and international defence industry events. A role inside a growing company with regional ambitions. Direct exposure to senior leadership shaping Gulf market entry.

A Business Development Manager selling into Ministry of Defence procurement in Qatar typically owns the full cycle: opening the relationship, shaping the bid, and carrying it through to contract signature. This is a specialist track within defence business development, distinct from broader aerospace or civil-aviation sales, and it rewards people who can point to a named deal they personally closed rather than a pipeline they helped build. Gulf governments are expanding domestic and imported defence capability, and manufacturers entering these markets are hiring locally-minded, procurement-literate business developers market by market rather than covering the region from one seat.

Desired Candidate Profile

5+ years business development, sales or procurement experience in defence. A demonstrated closed deal: named ministry, value and timeline. Fluent English; Arabic is a genuine advantage, not required. Comfort with frequent regional and international travel. Experience with advanced defence or aerospace technology products is highly desirable.

Hiring a Business Development Manager in Doha A Business Development Manager in Doha's interior design and fit-out sector typically owns the full sales cycle: identifying developers, contractors and architects as targets, building a pipeline of commercial, hospitality and residential projects, and closing contracts alongside internal design and estimation teams. The role sits close to Qatar's active construction and hospitality development cycle, so strong local relationships and a working knowledge of tender activity matter as much as sales technique. Firms hiring into this seat are usually scaling their project book and need someone who can convert relationships into signed work, not just generate leads.
About the Role Guildhall is hiring for an infrastructure operator running a multi-year road operations and maintenance contract in the GCC. The person in this seat will own pavement condition data end to end pulling from ARAN and LCMS survey systems and turning it into the maintenance schedules that keep a live road network in spec. The contract is in an active phase, and the client needs pavement data capability in place now to establish the condition baseline. It is a rare seat: full ownership of the data layer behind a decade-long O&M programme, not a short survey assignment.

The role Own pavement condition data analysis across a live, long-term road O&M contract in the GCC.
