<p>THE ROLE IN ONE LINE </p><p>Own the launch from ARCAN in Qatar end-to-end from supplier and compliance to sales and delivery — and grow it from zero to a stable base of recurring business accounts, without day-to-day oversight from the CEO. </p><br><p>WHAT YOU WILL OWN </p><p>— Sales (the core). Build the order book from zero — win and retain recurring whole-bean accounts across cafés, restaurants, hotels, and offices. This is the heart of the role. </p><p>— Supplier & product. Manage the Ethiopian roaster relationship — samples, quality spec, private-label packaging, orders, and reorders. </p><p>— Import & compliance. Coordinate import, customs clearance, MoPH product registration, and Arabic-label compliance with the relevant partners. </p><p>— Operations & delivery. Run inventory, warehousing, and reliable delivery to accounts. Keep customers stocked and happy. </p><p>— Commercials. Manage landed cost, pricing, and margin; protect cash; report simple monthly numbers to the CEO. </p><p>— Brand on the ground. Represent the ARCAN brand consistently to the Qatar market and execute local activation as needed. </p><br><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>WHO YOU ARE — A closer first. You are genuinely strong at face-to-face B2B selling and comfortable opening doors cold. If you can sell, you will succeed here. — Hands-on and resourceful. You will personally chase a clearance, fix a delivery, and follow up an invoice in the same day. No task is beneath you at this stage. — Commercially literate. You understand cost, margin, and cash — you won’t discount away the business to win a logo. — An owner. You treat ARCAN as if it were your own and push past your job description to make the launch work. — Culturally versatile. You move comfortably between a European brand, a Qatari market, and an Ethiopian supplier.</p><p> NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED) — An existing HORECA / F&B buyer network in Doha — a major accelerant. — Genuine interest in coffee. Deep coffee expertise is NOT required — product knowledge can be learned fast and specialist QC bought in later. — Experience launching or building a small business or new market from scratch. </p><p>FIRST 90 DAYS — SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE — Supplier confirmed, samples approved, first ARCAN-branded order placed and import/compliance path cleared. — First paying accounts signed and supplied; a live pipeline of target cafés, hotels and offices. — Pricing, delivery, and reorder process working reliably for early customers. </p><p>COMPENSATION — BUILT FOR A BUILDER </p><p>This is a lean-base, high-upside role by design, it rewards the person who builds the book rather than carrying a heavy fixed cost before revenue exists:</p><p> — Modest, fixed base — appropriate to a pre-revenue launch stage. </p><p>— New-account commission — the real earnings engine, weighted to signing and retaining recurring accounts (e.g. % of first-year account value + ongoing volume). </p><p>— Growth path — expands into a Country Manager mandate, team leadership, and a larger package as ARCAN scales and (later) enters new markets. </p>
