Report daily to the QA/QC Engineer and advise on contractor compliance with contractual procedures, specifications, quality standards, and any issues affecting quality performance. Ensure coating inspection activities are performed in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), project specifications, and relevant international standards. Review coating procedures, method statements, quality records, and inspection reports for compliance with project requirements. Witness and verify environmental condition measurements, surface preparation inspections, coating application inspections, dry film thickness (DFT) measurements, adhesion testing, holiday testing, and coating repair inspections. Verify that painting and coating materials are stored, handled, and applied according to manufacturer recommendations and project specifications. Monitor and verify contractor compliance with quality requirements for protective coating systems applied to onshore and offshore facilities. Ensure all inspection records, reports, and quality documentation are completed accurately and maintained in accordance with project quality requirements. Identify quality issues and non-conformances and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
