<p>Technical Knowledge :</p><p>-Electrical LV systems: MDB, SMDB, DB, cabling, containment, earthing, lighting and power..</p><p>-ELV systems: Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Data/Telephone, BMS etc.</p><p>-Plumbing: Water supply, drainage, sewage and stormwater.</p><p>-HVAC systems: DX, VRF/VRV, chilled water, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and exhaust.</p><p>-Fire Fighting: Sprinkler, hose reel, fire pump and associated systems.</p><p>-Testing & Commissioning.</p><p>-MEP coordination with architectural, structural and civil works.</p><p>-Builders' works associated with MEP.</p><p>-Reading IFC drawings, specifications and BOQ.</p><p>-Shop drawings and coordinated MEP drawings.</p><p>-Material submittals and technical datasheets.</p><p>-Method Statements and ITPs.</p><p>-RFIs and technical queries.</p><p>-As-built drawings and O&M manuals.</p><br><p>Software :</p><p>-AutoCAD – essential</p><p>-MS Office – essential</p><p>-Revit MEP – preferred</p><br><p>Qatar Authority Coordination :</p><p>Should understand and coordinate requirements involving, as applicable:</p><p>-KAHRAMAA — electricity and water</p><p>-Qatar Civil Defence / MOI — Fire & Life Safety</p><p>-Ashghal — where infrastructure/public works interfaces are involved</p><p>-Municipality/building permit requirements</p><p>-Telecom/service providers where applicable</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Education :</p><p>-Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.</p><p>-Engineering degree/certificates should be attested where required in Qatar.</p><p>-Registration with the relevant Qatar engineering/professional registration authority may be required depending on the project, consultant, position and contractual requirements. Ashghal project documentation, for example, has required project engineers to be professionally registered in Qatar.</p><br><p>Experience :</p><p>-Minimum 5–8 years total experience in building/construction MEP works.</p><p>Previous experience in villas, residential/commercial buildings, hotels or similar projects depending on your company scope.</p>
