The individual will be expected to independently lead technical workstreams, identify and resolve integration challenges, assess technical risks, and provide practical recommendations that support successful client outcomes.</p><p>Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:</p><ul><li>Provide technical subject-matter expertise across card issuing, acquiring, card processing, payment platforms, and banking technology environments.</li><li>Work with banks and financial institutions to understand technical requirements and translate them into appropriate solutions.</li><li>Support solution design, system integration, API/interface requirements, data flows, and technical architecture for card and payment initiatives.</li><li>Lead or support end-to-end implementation activities, including technical discovery, requirements gathering, integration, testing, certification, migration, and production readiness.</li><li>Collaborate with product, engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, operations, consulting, and account teams to deliver technically sound solutions.</li><li>Identify technical dependencies, risks, gaps, and implementation challenges, and develop practical mitigation plans.</li><li>Support client technology teams and third-party processors during integration and troubleshooting activities.</li></ul><p>Knowledge and Experience:</p><ul><li>Strong technical understanding of card issuing, acquiring, transaction processing, payment platforms, APIs, integration architectures, and banking systems, with practical experience within financial services or payments.</li><li>The ability to lead or support end-to-end system integrations, including requirements gathering, solution design, API/interface specifications, testing, certification, implementation, migration, and production deployment.</li><li>Strong analytical capability to diagnose complex technical issues, assess system dependencies and risks, and develop practical, scalable solutions in complex banking and payment environments.</li><li>The ability to engage and influence senior banking, technology, product, vendor, and internal stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language and actionable recommendations.</li></ul><p>Mandatory Skills:</p><ul><li>8-10 years' hand-on experience.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).</li><li>Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment &amp; Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.</li><li>Regional experience, including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentation); Arabic preferred.</li></ul><p>Preferred Skills:</p><ul><li>The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.</li><li>Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.</li><li>An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Strong technical understanding of card issuing, acquiring, transaction processing, payment platforms, APIs, integration architectures, and banking systems, with practical experience within financial services or payments.
