Supervises all repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment in a water base vehicle, such as but not limited to speedboat, dive boats, barge, whalers, rowing boat, pontoon boats, dhonis, etc. Attends to repair and maintenance of land based vehicle, such as golf cart, buggy, etc. when requested. Records all service & repair done for boats, vehicles and equipment & keeps log of spare parts used, ensuring proper operation of equipment. Attends to repair and maintenance of power house generators if requested. Attends to machinery maintenance requests when instructed to do so. Carry out Preventive Maintenance program. Carry out electric arc welding and oxy-acetylene welding if capable & is needed. Carry out minor fabrication work and metal work when required. Advices improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system. Ensure execution of Preventive Maintenance programs. Ensures implementation of Anantara policies, standards and procedures in relation to Engineering. Ensure execution of Maintenance Requests and give feedback to requesting department when job is done. Assist in the daily scheduling & weekly forecasting of all marine maintenance work. Participates in conducting Fire Prevention Training Programs. Supports and initiates programs for the improvement in procedures and the reduction of engineering costs. Maintain records of all-important information pertaining to operation of marine vehicles and Engineering staff on assigned duty. To ensure that the engineering services comply with established standard and quality. Ensure that pending work from is discussed in morning briefing. Determine cleanliness by inspection of engineering areas, marine workshop, to ensure that all the areas are clean and tidy at all time. Assist storekeeper to organize accurate ordering of spare parts. Supervise “hands-on” and co-ordinate to all engineering staff on their behalf if required. To co-ordinate with Assistant Chief Engineer to follow up daily work if required. Participates with Chief Engineer in review and makes recommendation on the annual Engineering budget. Ensure safety at work for all engineering staff. Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the resort premises including new additional/extensions to the resort or any other properties maintained by ANANTARA. To perform shift duties when assigned by Supervisor /Ass. Chief Engineer. Carry out and log marine meter reading on daily basis and reports any discrepancies noticed to the supervisor. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Carries out, supervises and co-ordinates the provision of drawing and design service to meet the requirement of engineering, maintenance and modification of Refining Operations plants and equipment.<br><br>Develops, manages, and maintains all aspects of documentation control (electronic & hard copy files) including philosophies, strategies, specifications, procedures and the design and implementation of a comprehensive documentation service. Responsible for coordinating Management of Change (MOC) processing and approval including preparation of As-built drawings, data sheets and other associated documents.
