<p>Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the day-to-day delivery of the Site Supervision Consultancy Services for a luxury hospitality and entertainment development in Qatar. The development is a state-of-the-art entertainment hub, set to attract millions of visitors annually with its immersive experiences and diverse attractions. The Project Director will have full responsibility for managing the construction supervision services for this world-class hospitality, entertainment, retail, residential, and mixed-use destination. The role is accountable for leading the multidisciplinary site supervision team throughout construction, testing & commissioning, handover, and the Defects Liability Period (DLP), while ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with the Contract Documents, approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and the Client's objectives for safety, schedule, quality, and operational readiness. Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary construction supervision teams on major building developments. Experience delivering luxury hotels, integrated resorts, theme parks, entertainment destinations, or mixed-use developments. Strong experience in contract administration under FIDIC or similar forms of contract. Review the annual Quality Plan submitted by Framework Contractors and ensure
compliance with organisation policies, processes, procedures and standards related

Carry out necessary inspection on Framework Contractors work activities to ensure
the Framework Contractor's compliance with all contractual obligations related to
quality.
Review Inspection and Test Plan submitted by Framework contractors and monitor
its proper implementation Framework Contractors and raise development
requirements.
Support DNO&M Internal Audits and conduct Second Party (BAU) Audit
(Framework Contractor's Audit)
Review Contractors QA/QC Reports, Non Conformities (NCR) / Observation and
inspection records. <br>Coordinate with Framework Contractors to ensure the final resolution of Technical
Query (TQ) / Concession Requests (CR) related to any Non Conformities (NCR) in
DNO&M Catchment Zone.
Conduct Rainy Season preparedness Audit.
Carry out the new assets/Projects handing over inspections to assure the
compliance with the Quality requirements & the contract clauses.
Carry out spares inspection to ensure compliance with relevant quality standards,
project specifications and DNO&M requirements and witness Critical inspection /
testing.
Minimum of 10 years' work experience in a relevant field
Experience of implementing and maintaining QMS to ISO 9001 standard, ISO 50001
standard
Experience of working in a multidisciplinary Organisation preferably in the Middle
East
Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and in particular Microsoft Excel 2010

Records all service & repair done for boats, vehicles and equipment & keeps log of spare parts used, ensuring proper operation of equipment. Attends to repair and maintenance of power house generators if requested. Attends to machinery maintenance requests when instructed to do so. Carry out Preventive Maintenance program. Carry out electric arc welding and oxy-acetylene welding if capable & is needed. Carry out minor fabrication work and metal work when required. Advices improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system. Ensure execution of Preventive Maintenance programs. Ensures implementation of Anantara policies, standards and procedures in relation to Engineering. Ensure execution of Maintenance Requests and give feedback to requesting department when job is done. Assist in the daily scheduling & weekly forecasting of all marine maintenance work. Participates in conducting Fire Prevention Training Programs. Ensure safety at work for all engineering staff. Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the resort premises including new additional/extensions to the resort or any other properties maintained by ANANTARA. To perform shift duties when assigned by Supervisor /Ass. Chief Engineer. Carry out and log marine meter reading on daily basis and reports any discrepancies noticed to the supervisor.
