Job Summary<p>We are looking for a Senior IT Operations Specialist to manage and support IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and day-to-day technology operations across the organization.</p><br><br><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable and secure IT systems, providing advanced technical support, managing Microsoft technologies and infrastructure, coordinating with technology vendors, and supporting the continuous improvement of IT operations.</p><br><br><br>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and support IT infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints, and related systems.</li><li>Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Active Directory environments.</li><li>Manage endpoint devices, user accounts, access, and IT assets.</li><li>Support backup, recovery, data protection, and business continuity processes.</li><li>Monitor system performance, availability, security, and overall infrastructure health.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical issues.</li><li>Support cybersecurity, vulnerability management, access controls, and information security practices.</li><li>Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts, devices, and access.</li><li>Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, asset records, and IT knowledge resources.</li><li>Manage and coordinate with IT vendors, software providers, hardware suppliers, and service providers.</li><li>Review software licenses, IT services, and infrastructure requirements to identify opportunities for cost optimization.</li><li>Support the evaluation and implementation of new IT tools, systems, and technology solutions.</li><li>Assist with internal IT projects, system upgrades, digital workplace solutions, and technology improvements.</li><li>Prioritize technical incidents and infrastructure requirements according to business needs.</li><li>Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support when required for critical incidents or planned technology activities.</li></ul><br>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.</li><li>7-10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and technical support.</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior, supervisory, technical lead, or similar capacity.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Endpoint Management.</li><li>Good knowledge of Active Directory and Hybrid Active Directory environments.</li><li>Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam.</li><li>Practical experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, and network security.</li><li>Experience in information security, cybersecurity controls, compliance, vulnerability management, and audit readiness.</li><li>Experience with IT vendors, software licensing, and technology cost optimization.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Good technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support multiple business requirements.</li><li>Willingness to provide occasional after-hours or weekend support when required.</li></ul>

Job Purpose<br><br>Advise and support electrical engineering activities during the EPC and start-up phases until handover to the permanent asset, whilst ensuring project deliverables meet Operations expectations in terms of safety, operability, reliability, and maintainability throughout the facility design lifecycle.<br><br>Internal Interfaces<br><br>Regular contact with Project Management Team (PMT) and Operations departments. Periodic contact with Engineering & Projects and HSEQ Group.<br><br>External Interfaces<br><br>Frequent contact with shareholders’ Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), EPC contractors, vendors, suppliers, and engineering consultants.<br><br>Job Context & Major Challenges<br><br>Effectively influence project decisions by considering not only CAPEX but also OPEX throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with QG specifications, processes, and procedures for assigned projects. This accountability is a condition of employment for expatriate employees.<br><br>Firewall Compliance<br><br>Ensure all activities undertaken comply with anti-trust and competition laws, as well as Company firewall policies and procedures.<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br>Provide a variety of Electrical Engineering support to contribute to division strategy and goals, including design reviews, commissioning, start-up, failure analysis, and advanced troubleshooting. Develop and implement surveillance and administration programs for critical Electrical Systems of new projects to achieve high standards of reliability, availability, and cyber security. Define and document best practices within the area of expertise and recommend performance improvement initiatives. Develop plans and work schedules to ensure effective completion of tasks and activities while meeting section and division KPIs. Provide technical input related to area of expertise to other disciplines and functions as required to support overall business objectives. Control and supervise electrical engineering activities undertaken by contractors, consultants, and service providers. Guide less experienced engineers in implementing company integrity and reliability systems. Support and facilitate smooth completion of project tie-in requirements for all systems under the area of responsibility. Maintain an Issue Register identifying and resolving critical issues, including new technology risks, that could impact project reliability, availability, and cyber security. Support high-risk commissioning activities for high-complexity and large-scale projects by undertaking stringent system surveillance, tuning and optimizing electrical systems, and providing advisory support to Operations and Maintenance.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.<br><br>Knowledge and/or Experience<br><br>Minimum 8 years of experience in an Oil & Gas environment. Attained specialist-level competencies as per Electrical Technical Competencies requirements.<br><br>Technical & Business Skills<br><br>Ability to work and make decisions under highly stressful conditions.
