Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams across Feasibility/ Concept, FEED and Detailed Design phases. Direct the preparation and quality of engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, standards, and schedule requirements. Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant design output, meeting customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Review and approve engineering execution strategies, project organization structures, and discipline responsibilities. Prepare and implement the Engineering management Plan on projects and ensure discipline schedules/budgets include safety and sustainability activities for the asset lifecycle. Manage technical Value Improvement Practices (VIPs) - technology selection, value engineering, energy optimization, RAM, etc.<br><br>Cross-Discipline Coordination & Interface Management<br><br>Provide overall integration across engineering disciplines, ensuring effective sequencing and interface management. Establish and maintain engineering coordination procedures with internal teams, licensors, contractors, and stakeholders. Oversee and manage interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and third-party contractors. Ensure structured communication and resolution of technical queries and inter-disciplinary conflicts.<br><br>Technical Governance & Quality Assurance<br><br>Ensure engineering activities comply with Worley standards, international codes, and customer specifications Must ensure maintaining engineering quality assurance processes, including document control, review cycles, and approval timelines. Lead the review and approval of key engineering documents, ensuring compliance with HSSEQ, operability, maintainability, and technical integrity requirements. Must ensure and participate in design reviews, safety studies, and technical assurance activities. Ensure required Technical Peer Reviews (TPRs) are planned, scheduled, and budgeted; proactively engage Location Director of Engineering when needed.<br><br>Project Management & Delivery<br><br>Overall key technical interface with customer management teams. Support the safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of engineering scope across all project phases. Monitor engineering progress against schedule, budget, and deliverable milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans. Provide technical and commercial input to optimize design solutions and manage project risks. Ensure alignment between engineering outputs and project controls (cost, schedule, procurement needs). Maintain engineering registers for assumptions, holds, technical queries, deviations, key document changes, and SEAL decisions.<br><br>HSSEQ & Compliance<br><br>Champion Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality culture within engineering activities. Ensure designs incorporate safe, sustainable, and environmentally compliant solutions. Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks and standards.<br><br>Team Leadership & Capability<br><br>Lead, mentor, and develop multi-location engineering teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and competency. Ensure teams are appropriately staffed and aligned with project requirements. Foster collaboration across disciplines, offices, and stakeholders. Capture and implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.<br><br>Education<br><br>Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline of Engineering from an accredited University. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage. MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.<br><br>Job Specific Knowledge , Experience & Competencies<br><br>Significant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sector projects. Must have proven experience as Project Engineering Manager / Engineering Manager on Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering projects during the last five years. Strong exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering and global delivery teams.<br><br>Technical & Functional Competencies<br><br>Strong understanding of engineering governance, execution planning, and design assurance. Extensive knowledge of cross-discipline integration, interfaces, and sequencing. Experience in engineering deliverables, specifications, and design review processes. Solid understanding of project lifecycle phases (Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design, EPC). Familiarity with industry standards and customer specifications. Job Summary and Purpose Ensure that the Fleet is managed safely, efficiently, in a professional manner to standards and costs that are in line with the industry best practices. Oversee and monitor the overall operational management being provided by third parties.<br>Key Accountabilities: <br>Management Establish and continuously monitor operational standards of ships to ensure delivery of continuous, efficient and safe service to the customer Provide marine operational expertise and advice with regards to operational matters. Assist with the assessment of operational risks and mitigations Provide guidance and conduct port and terminal due diligence to ensure safe and efficient operations Monitors / Ensure high standard day to day marine operational activities of LNG, LPG, FSRU and any chartered in vessels Identify sub-standard operational performance and evaluate alternative methods, systems and contractors to use in place of the obsolete systems<br>Cargo Management and compliance Ensure that the vessels are operated in a manner which is safe, reliable and economical meeting the highest industry standards. This shall ensure efficiency in cargo management Drive compliance with international, Flag State, legal requirements and all company policies related to shipping operations, safety of navigation and Marine personnel at all times. Oversee/ensure complete compliance with port / terminals requirements, oil / gas majors and ship vetting systems Ensure that the trading certification of vessels are valid and avoid failure due to non-compliance Monitor performance of the vessels against charter parties to ensure commercial interests of owners are protected. Prepare defense for performance and off hire claims Monitor LNG bespoke developed emergency STS transfer with the third-party service provider in conjunction with the charterers to be able to deploy promptly if required Visit ships as required and instructed by the Operations Manager. Develop reports on the upkeep, operational standards, and effective management of vessels Monitors and ensure ship-shore loading efficiency, passage performance, ship performance, and cargo management are done efficiently Ensure terminal compatibility and assurance process completed safely and timely. Ensure compliance with port / terminals requirements, ship vetting systems (oil / gas majors) at all times<br>Vetting of Vessels Ensure that vessels in the fleet are vetted successfully by arranging timely SIRE inspections, giving prompt responses to any observations raised, initiate remedial actions and identify and mitigate gaps in policies and procedures Manage the entry of details from the VPQ into the SIRE system as well as maintain the relevant vessels particulars data not limited to TMSA and Q88 records<br>Audits and Ship Inspections Conduct ship inspections on a regular basis to ensure effective ship management during calls to Ras Laffan or sailing visit.
