The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The Mechanical Technician improves maintenance related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity.<br><br>Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work. 1. JOB PURPOSEThe NDT Level III Technician shall be responsible for performing and overseeing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on offshore jacket structures. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations while maintaining the highest quality of inspection outcomes.<br>2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform and supervise NDT inspections using MPI, PT, UT, and RT methods on offshore jacket structures. Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with ASNT Level III standards and project specifications. Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, defects, and recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure all NDT activities comply with safety protocols, industry codes (ASME, API, DNV), and client requirements. Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Level I and Level II technicians on site. Coordinate with the QA/QC team and project management to ensure timely completion of inspection activities.
