<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span></span><p><span><span>We are seeking a Site Inspector (Architectural) who will support the successful delivery of Design &amp; Build interior fit-out projects by reviewing architectural designs, inspecting site activities, coordinating technical interfaces and ensuring that all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, contractual requirements and applicable Qatar standards.<br></span></span></p><br><p><b><span><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></span></b></p><br><ul><li><span><span>Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical submissions.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Inspect architectural and interior fit-out works, including:</span></span><ul><li><span><span>Partitions and ceilings</span></span></li><li><span><span>Flooring and wall finishes</span></span></li><li><span><span>Doors and glazing</span></span></li><li><span><span>Joinery and furniture</span></span></li><li><span><span>Decorative finishes</span></span></li><li><span><span>Specialist architectural elements</span></span></li></ul></li><li><span><span>Coordinate with the Design &amp; Build contractor, consultants and specialist subcontractors.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Ensure proper integration of architectural, structural and MEP works.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Monitor construction progress, workmanship and compliance with approved designs.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Identify quality deficiencies and issue site observations or Non-Conformance Reports.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Follow up and verify the completion of corrective actions.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Review material samples, mock-ups and prototype installations before full implementation.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Attend inspections, progress meetings and technical coordination meetings.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Prepare inspection reports and construction progress updates.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Verify completed architectural works for interim payment applications.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Assist with the review of variation proposals related to architectural works.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Participate in snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning and final handover inspections.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Maintain RFIs, site instructions, inspection requests, quality records and as-built documentation.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Ensure compliance with QCS, Qatar Civil Defense requirements and applicable international standards.</span></span><br></li></ul><br><span>Requirements</span><p><b><span><span>Requirements:</span></span></b></p><br><ul><li><span><span>Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Professional registration is preferred.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design, construction supervision or project management.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end commercial office fit-out projects.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Experience in Design &amp; Build contracts is essential.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Qatar experience and familiarity with major corporate office projects are preferred.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Strong knowledge of QCS, Qatar Civil Defense requirements and local authority approval procedures.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Revit or BIM experience is preferred.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Strong knowledge of joinery, millwork, material inspection, finishes, QA/QC, snagging and handover.</span></span><br></li></ul><br> </div>

<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <ul> <li>Responsible for all Quantity Survey activities connected Infrastructure &amp; Civil capital projects including preparation / Verification of Bill of Quantities, man-hour requirements, Tender and Contracts Documentation based upon the scope of work.</li> <li>Participate in technical evaluations and commercial evaluations for tenders.</li> <li>Establish and update total installed unit cost data for a wide range of oil and gas and infrastructure projects. Upload additional cost data for completed projects to the Cost Estimating Database to improve the effective use of the in-house Cost Estimation Database System.</li> <li>Act on behalf of Company with commensurate responsibility for all Cost Engineering, Budgeting &amp; Invoicing related matters pertaining to projects executed by the Engineering Department(s) under PEPS Directorate.</li> <li>Determine applicable rates and applicable estimation strategy, Preliminary &amp; General matters and mark-up to be used for cost estimates</li> <li>Endorse / reject Contractor invoices and Contractor's submission for TDR / Claim based on cost evaluation / assessment.</li> <li>Verify and endorse Bills of Quantities and Man-Hour requirements prepared by Engineering Consultants and condition it to incorporate with the EPIC/Construction Tenders/ Contracts.</li> <li>Physical verification and endorsement of re-measurable work of EPIC/Construction Contractors</li> </ul><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Degree in an Engineering Discipline.</li> <li>A minimum 12 years' experience in multi discipline Quantity Survey specially for Infrastructure and civil projects.</li> <li>Working experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry will be preferred.</li> <li>Practical experience in Tenders, administration of remeasurable Contracts, B.O.Q preparation and Estimation are required.</li> <li>Should have exposure to SAP &amp; MS Office applications.</li> <li>Good time management and organizational skills.</li> <li>A high degree of literacy in the English language (written and spoken) Ability to work under pressure and tight time constraints.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li><strong>Salary:</strong><ul> <li>Day Rate in QAR Plus Allowance</li> </ul></li> <li><strong>Work Schedule:</strong><ul> <li>8 Hours/ 5 Days</li> </ul></li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Duration:</strong> <ul> <li>2 years, renewable</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Location:</strong> <ul> <li>Qatar</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div>
