<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <ul> <li>Provide Engineering support to South Train 4 &amp; 6 Restoration project leadership team by overseeing the execution of all engineering Studies required for execution of the project, ensuring clear alignment between all stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensure that the project's requirements for all engineering deliverables related to Train 4 &amp; 6 Restoration project are fully executed by the engineering contractor by project schedule.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li>Oversee engineering, design, quality assurance, leadership, and expertise in accordance with project deliverables and approved execution schedule.</li> <li>Direct the preparation and stewardship of engineering scope of work for engineering studies required for execution, advise and recommend design procedures, deliverables as required, to optimize project schedule to match restoration project schedule as much possible.</li> <li>Maintain close liaison with members of PMT Engineering teams and alignment with the Engineering Division Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.</li> <li>Ensure execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with LNG operations, policies, standards of business conduct and LNG Project Management System as applicable.</li> <li>Provide support to PMT in areas related to technical bid evaluations, qualifications, and experience of engineering companies;</li> <li>Ensure usage of appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software; adherence with all project objectives, requirements, specifications, standards, procedures, execution plans and design verification processes.</li> <li>Assess and validate engineering contractors and third-party consultants (as applicable) capability in providing all contract documents, progress measurement and reporting and recommends additional technical support to address gaps.</li> <li>Facilitate engineering schedule and related milestones, provides data (study reports, narrative, charts, graphs, change management recommendations and recovery plans to address any schedule delays) for monthly progress and stewardship reporting.</li> <li>Facilitate change management recommendations and recovery plans to address any schedule delays</li> <li>Ensure knowledge sharing from previous lessons learned, capturing, and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering</li> <li>10 years of experience in discipline with at least 6 years demonstrated senior engineering experience in major capital projects in the oil and gas sector.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.</li> <li>2 years' experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors / service / vendor personnel.</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken English.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills.</li> <li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Good communication skills.</li> <li>Advanced computer literacy involves the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience of the Document Control function and Information Management Processes.</li> </ul><br><ul> <li><strong>Salary:</strong><ul> <li>Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance</li> </ul></li> <li><strong>Work Schedule:</strong><ul> <li>10 Hours / 6 Days</li> </ul></li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Duration:</strong> <ul> <li>36 Months, with possible extension</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Location:</strong> <ul> <li>Qatar</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div>
