Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Provide daily process optimization support to monitor the performance of process and utility systems and equipment, ensuring production targets and product specifications are met. Offer suitable recommendations to operations in the event of deviations. Assess and validate chemical performance through systematic evaluation and identify new chemicals for improvement by coordinating with chemical suppliers. Chair the Panel Review Meeting for all Technical MoC and evaluate all the proposals for process improvements and classify them either as In-house project under Dukhan Operation, RES or Project Initiation Note (PIN) for VP project, based on initial screening. Prepare the project initiation note statement of requirement (PIN-SOR), incorporating all requirements for proposed projects. Ensure the SOR document complies with VP procedures, Qatar Energy guidelines, Shell DEP’s, and approved standards to fully address the asset owner's needs. Perform adequacy checks of the existing facility for optimization purposes and assess any bottlenecks or limitations of facility performance and reliability through best practices of process optimization to enhance asset operational integrity. Develop and select technology options for feasibility and concept optimization studies to meet business targets. For external studies, participate in providing inputs and review all deliverables. Evaluate proven and new processes and technologies for operation, maintenance, or HSE improvements through projects and field trials, as required. Provide process engineering support for FEED and EPIC projects. Prepare and review project deliverables such as HMB, PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, process descriptions, and line lists for process and utility systems. Define and review operating and integrity envelope philosophy for both process & utilities systems, including operating modes such as: normal steady state, transient (i.e. start‐up, shutdown, upset), pressure‐relief, etc.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>10 to 12 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry with a minimum 8 years working in the position of Senior Process Engineer. Experience in Process optimization, concept engineering and detailed design, commissioning and start-up of oil & Gas facilities, and preparation of feasibility studies and project engineering will be an added advantage. Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Function as a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer for a Power and Desalination Plant project, providing technical assurance over the Contractor’s civil and structural design from commencement through completion. The role requires independent technical capability to manage, review, verify and approve all civil and structural engineering deliverables associated with a power generation and desalination facility, including complex onshore and marine infrastructure.<br><br>The Senior Civil/Structural Engineer shall ensure suitability of civil and structural designs for site development, dynamic equipment foundations, very large prestressed potable water retaining structures, large‑scale drainage and earthworks, switching stations and electrical yards. Specific responsibilities within the role includes:<br>Operational Plan assigned activities in an effective and efficient manner, operate equipment or use tooling relative to assigned tasks within framework of Qatar Airways and Customer procedures. Review of work procedures and standards, propose improvements were procedures are not appropriate to ensure work processes are effective. Responsible for the final release of work accomplished. Ensure tasks are performed to meet company/ customer standards and target such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects. Ensure delivery standard of QR/customer products are met. Aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures. Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers. Implement solutions to technical problems within his/her range of authority. Aircraft or components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements. Management & Leadership:Supervise a team of mechanics or technical assistants, ascertaining task are efficiently performed and comply with procedures and meet task objectives. Provide guidance and or on the job training to the Technicians and Aircraft Mechanics reporting to this position. Establish the teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. Regularly evaluate the teams’ objectives, plans , and procedures and revise when needed. Ensuring staff under his immediate controls adhere to published technical and safety requirements defined in publishing manuals,Customer procedures and other publications. Defining priorities to the staff allocated to him to ensure that efficient use of resources is channeled to perform the tasks allocated and meet schedules and planned check activities. Qualifications About you:<br>To be successful in the role, you must have the following qualification and skills:Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job- related experience Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B. Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering. Holds a minimum 1 full Qatar Airways main fleet ICAO/QCAA, is must. You will support the integration of roads, utilities, drainage, grading, underground infrastructure, public realm, and site development works with architectural, MEP, landscape, utility, and themed entertainment systems.</p> <p> </p> What You ll Be Doing: <ul> <li>Provide technical engineering support for the delivery of the Project Management Consultancy services throughout all project phases.</li> <li>Review and coordinate civil, structural, infrastructure, and external works deliverables to ensure technical consistency, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.</li> <li>Support the coordination and integration of roads, utilities, grading, drainage, underground infrastructure, external works, public realm, and site development works.</li> <li>Coordinate civil engineering interfaces between the Lead Design Consultant, Architect of Record, Design &amp; Build Contractor, Supervision Consultant, specialist designers, attraction vendors, operators, and utility providers.</li> <li>Review engineering reports, design submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical queries related to civil and infrastructure works.</li> <li>Support constructability reviews and technical evaluations to identify engineering risks, interface conflicts, and opportunities for design optimization and value engineering.</li> <li>Monitor engineering progress and support the timely resolution of technical issues that may affect project cost, schedule, quality, procurement, or construction activities.</li> <li>Coordinate civil engineering support during procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, and handover to facilitate the successful delivery of infrastructure and external works.</li> <li>Support multidisciplinary coordination for utility corridors, road networks, site grading, stormwater drainage, external utilities, retaining structures, and public realm infrastructure.</li> <li>Provide technical oversight for civil infrastructure supporting themed attractions, entertainment facilities, ride foundations, feature structures, water attractions, and associated external works.</li> <li>Assist in reviewing engineering-related RFIs, design clarifications, variations, and technical change requests, including their potential impacts on the Project.</li> <li>Coordinate with the BIM team to support multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, and engineering integration.</li> <li>Support the review of as-built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, infrastructure records, and engineering handover documentation.</li> <li>Maintain engineering coordination registers, technical review records, action trackers, and related documentation within the Electronic Document Management System.</li> </ul> <p> </p> What Required Skills You ll Bring: <ul> <li>Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.</li> <li>Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent professional registration is preferred.</li> <li>Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering design, technical coordination, or Project Management Consultancy for major hospitality, entertainment, mixed-use, or destination developments.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience coordinating large-scale civil infrastructure and site development works on multidisciplinary projects.</li> <li>Proven experience supporting themed entertainment developments, integrated resorts, luxury hospitality developments, or complex mixed-use destinations is highly desirable.</li> <li>Strong experience with roads, utilities, drainage, grading, underground infrastructure, external works, and public realm development.</li> <li>Experience working on Design &amp; Build projects through design, construction, testing and commissioning, and handover.</li> <li>Strong understanding of applicable international engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices.</li> <li>GCC experience is highly desirable.</li> </ul> <p> </p> What Desired Skills You ll Bring: <ul> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering, infrastructure delivery, and multidisciplinary engineering coordination for major hospitality, entertainment, and mixed-use developments.</li> <li>Strong understanding of roads, utilities, grading, drainage, underground infrastructure, external works, public realm, and site development engineering.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of civil engineering coordination, constructability reviews, engineering interface management, value engineering, and technical design reviews.</li> <li>Strong understanding of civil infrastructure supporting themed attractions, ride foundations, feature structures, water attractions, utility networks, and large-scale public spaces.</li> <li>Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering stakeholders, including Lead Design Consultants,&nbsp;</li></ul>
