<p><strong>Key Result Areas</strong></p><br><p>• Manage, analyze, and evaluate QF’s existing corporate insurance requirements.</p><br><p>• Implement appropriate insurance reporting across the organization, including reporting to the C-Suite, Audit Committee, and Board, as required.</p><br><p>• Provide advisory services to all business areas on minimizing risk exposure while maximizing control effectiveness to protect QF’s reputation.</p><br><p>• Manage engagement with relevant insurance committees and submit recommendations for approval to the appropriate authorities.</p><br><p>• Ensure appropriate training and skills development for all staff involved in insurance activities and provide awareness briefings for directors and senior management, as required.</p><br><p>• Manage relationships with external insurance providers and advisors to ensure QF end users receive excellent service and that efficient processes are established between end users and insurance providers.</p><br><p>• Explore self-insurance options, including captive insurance arrangements, where appropriate, to identify potential cost savings for QF.</p><br><p>• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the Chief Financial Officer.</p><br><p>• Undertake any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor.</p><br><p><strong>Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience</strong></p><br><p>• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8–10 years of relevant full-time experience in corporate insurance or a related field, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.</p><br><p>• Strong understanding of insurance programs, techniques, and products, with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders.</p><br><p>• Strong control-oriented approach.</p><br><p>• Experience in a comparable organization, with an understanding of how value is created for customers and stakeholders.</p><br><p>• Professional insurance or risk management qualifications, such as FCII, ACII, or equivalent certifications, are considered advantageous.</p><br><p>• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft and edit a wide range of reports and business communications and articulate ideas clearly and concisely. <p>Main Duties and Responsibilities</p><p>Pre-Sales & Solution Architecture:</p><ul><li>Co-lead technical discovery with the sales team, qualify client requirements, author RFP/RFI responses, and draft statements of work (SOWs).</li><li>Design target-state enterprise architectures, cost estimations, and architectural migration blueprints on GCP.</li><li>Deliver high-impact technical demonstrations and executive presentations to technical leads and C-level stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Cloud Infrastructure Delivery & Migration (Post-Sales):</p><ul><li>Architect, deploy, and automate enterprise-grade Google Cloud Landing Zones (organization hierarchy, IAM, VPC networking, security perimeters, and billing models).</li><li>Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform .</li><li>Lead end-to-end workload migration and modern application deployment (compute engines, Google Kubernetes Engine / GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Spanner).</li></ul><p>Applied AI & Agentic Development:</p><ul><li>Design, build, and deploy production-ready AI Agents leveraging Vertex AI , Gemini models, and agentic orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Google GenAI SDK).</li><li>Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, grounding search, and enterprise tool-use/function-calling integrations.</li><li>Develop functional Proof of Concepts (PoCs) demonstrating agentic workflows, document processing, and generative AI use cases during pre-sales and post-sales delivery.</li></ul><p>Position Requirements</p><ul><li>Solution Architecture & Consultative Selling</li><li>Hands-on Technical Agility & Troubleshooting</li><li>End-to-End Delivery Accountability</li><li>Translating Complex AI/Cloud Concepts to Business Value</li></ul><p>Required: Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer. As the Buyer II, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and expediting materials, equipment, and services required to support facilities operations at Al Udeid Air Base. This position ensures timely procurement in compliance with contract requirements, U. S. government regulations, base access rules, and company policies.
