This role works closely with engineering teams and focuses on building, reviewing, and operating security controls using Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and custom security services written in Go and Type Script.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Secure Cloud Deployment:<br><br>Design, implement, and manage secure cloud deployments across AWS and GCP environments using Terraform. Kubernetes & Git Ops Security: Deploy and manage both internal and third‑party security products within the Kubernetes ecosystem. Work with Git Ops workflows using tools like Argo CD and Flux, and Helm charts. Security Automation & Tooling: Design and build security tooling and services using Go and Type Script. Misconfiguration Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and remediate cloud misconfigurations. Cloud Architecture Guidance: Provide guidance to Engineering teams on secure architecture. Threat Detection & Response: Build and optimize cloud-native detection rules and alerting pipelines to monitor for suspicious activities within the cloud and container workloads.<br><br>Required Skills & Experience:<br><br>8+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or platform engineering roles. Hands-on experience securing production workloads in AWS and GCP. Strong experience designing and securing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Deep understanding of Kubernetes security, including troubleshooting Helm deployments and Git Ops-based workflows. Strong programming skills in Go and Type Script, with Python used for automation where appropriate. Experience embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines. Certifications (Required) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Security Specialty Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer Hashi Corp Certified: Terraform Associate Nice-to-Have Experience with Policy-as-Code frameworks such as Open Policy Agent (OPA). Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences. Ensures team member adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. Participate in project execution strategy and planning. Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, ensures the team to meets the expectations, and liaises with other disciplines to ensure project success. Supports management of project change and progressing for the discipline and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability. Leads weekly Instrumentation & Control meetings, reviews progress reports and required checking procedures. Initiate, manage and supervise engineering assignments on projects that meet project requirements on time and within budget. Organise and manage all aspects of the workload of a team of Instrumentation & Control discipline engineers and designers, within the parameters of a project schedule. Reviews data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studies, analyses, calculations, and recommend actions. Crafts recommendations and reviews final documentation prior to customer approval. Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations through official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc. Establish a list of discipline deliverables. Controls, monitors and progresses these deliverables to an agreed schedule. Reviews final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval. Participates in bid clarifications, conducts bid evaluations, completes interdiscipline vendor information review and approval, and finalizes other certification activities. Quality Assurance:Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems. Work with project managers/project engineers to ensure all projects are set up and executed in full compliance with all the requirements of the Worley Project Management Process (WPMP) and General Management System (EMS) using consistent approaches, Work Breakdown Structures, work methodologies and reporting systems. Monitors the closure of all identified risks and opportunities. Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings. Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success. Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.<br><br>Job Specific Knowledge<br><br>Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment. Specialized expertise of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to topsides/plant layout and piping design for oil and gas facilities. Extensive current design experience is required in piping engineering, piping stress, pipe supports, topsides & onshore plant equipment layouts and detailed piping design, all gained with notable design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the industry. Specialized expertise of piping materials to guide staff in the preparation of piping, valve and SP Item specifications and subsequently ensure purchase to required standards. Ensure recognised onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to piping design and topside/plant layout are adopted.<br><br>Quality Assurance<br><br>Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.<br><br>Safety<br><br>Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. About the role:<br>We are currently recruiting for Licensed Aircraft Engineers (B2) under Line Maintenance – Technical Engineering in Doha. As Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B2), you will be responsible to deliver aircraft maintenance activities to directly support flight operations maintenance checks and duties within your authority. You will provide specialized knowledge skills and expertise and ensuring safe, effective and efficient operation. Specific responsibilities within the role includes:<br>Operational Plan assigned activities in an effective and efficient manner, operate equipment or use tooling relative to assigned tasks within framework of Qatar Airways and Customer procedures. Review of work procedures and standards, propose improvements were procedures are not appropriate to ensure work processes are effective. Responsible for the final release of work accomplished. Ensure tasks are performed to meet company/ customer standards and target such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects. Ensure delivery standard of QR/customer products are met. Aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures. Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers. Implement solutions to technical problems within his/her range of authority. Aircraft or components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements. Management & Leadership:Supervise a team of mechanics or technical assistants, ascertaining task are efficiently performed and comply with procedures and meet task objectives. Provide guidance and or on the job training to the Technicians and Aircraft Mechanics reporting to this position. Establish the teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives. Regularly evaluate the teams’ objectives, plans , and procedures and revise when needed. Ensuring staff under his immediate controls adhere to published technical and safety requirements defined in publishing manuals,Customer procedures and other publications. Defining priorities to the staff allocated to him to ensure that efficient use of resources is channeled to perform the tasks allocated and meet schedules and planned check activities. The QAQC Engineer is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control systems across all carpentry, joinery, and fit-out manufacturing activities. The role ensures that all products, materials, and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications, client requirements, applicable standards, and company quality procedures.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br> Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001:2015 or company standards. Prepare and update Quality Plans, Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for joinery and fit-out works. Ensure QA procedures cover all stages of manufacturing, including material procurement, fabrication, finishing, packing, and delivery. Coordinate internal audits and assist during external audits by clients, consultants, or certification bodies. Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements to identify quality requirements and risks. Establish quality objectives and monitor performance through KPIs and quality reports. Promote a quality-driven culture across production and project teams. Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities Conduct incoming material inspections for timber, boards, veneers, laminates, hardware, finishes, adhesives, and accessories. Verify compliance of materials with approved submittals, samples, and technical data sheets. Perform in-process inspections during cutting, machining, assembly, veneering, laminating, finishing, polishing, and pre-installation mock-ups. Inspect final products to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, samples, tolerances, and finish quality. Monitor workmanship quality for factory-made and site-installed joinery and fit-out items. Ensure proper calibration and use of measuring and inspection tools. Identify non-conformities and issue NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) where required. Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness. Project & Site Coordination Liaise with Project Managers, Production Managers, Factory Supervisors, and Site Engineers on quality matters. Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors. Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site inspections prior to delivery or installation. Ensure quality compliance during site installation, rectification works, and snag clearance. Assist in preparation of handover documents, warranties, and quality dossiers when required. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, approvals, NCRs, and corrective actions. Prepare Inspection Requests (IRs) and ensure timely approvals. Compile quality reports, dashboards, and monthly summaries for management review. Control quality-related documents and ensure only approved revisions are in use. Maintain records for traceability of materials and workmanship. Compliance & Standards Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, EN, local authority requirements).
