<p>We are seeking a Plumber / Building Technician. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently planning and executing high-quality welds while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.<br>Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication layouts, and welding symbols. Independently determine welding procedures, including joint preparation, root gap spacing, root face sizing, and multi-pass welding sequences. Perform high-quality MMA (SMAW) and MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding on a variety of metals in all welding positions. Operate fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, drill presses, grinders, and shop saws. Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal structures and components to engineering specifications. Select appropriate welding consumables based on material type and application. Set up, calibrate, inspect, and maintain welding equipment and hand tools. Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements, including PPE, Permit to Work (PTW), risk assessments, and safe material handling practices.<br>Qualifications & Experience Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
