CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR (PIPING) – QATAR <br><br>Qualification<br><br>Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognized University. Preferably having formal training in QA/QC functional aspects.<br><br>Experience<br><br>Candidate shall be a safety leader. Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years overall experience in piping construction (UG & AG), pressure testing, mechanical completion and construction of oil and gas facilities. Reporting to the Discipline Construction Lead/Senior Construction Supervisor on main issues, events at site, progress reporting, trends and recommendation for improvement. Assist functional supervisor in review and / or approval of Construction documentation, including Method Statements, JHAs, MARs etc., and attend HSE Walkthroughs. Supervise all EPIC contractors piping (Process and Utility piping system with various material pipe classes for above ground & underground piped services) installation activities are based on approved the engineering documentation and project schedule during the execution of construction activities. Attend Requests For Inspections (RFIs) as per approved ITPs, including Material Receiving Inspections in coordination with Reconstruction Supervisor, and sign off relevant inspection and test reports / RFIs. Ensuring the quality of manufacturing and installation works, dimensional accuracy and orientation, accessory and inline items installed in the correct orientation and material design specification. Lead the EPIC construction contractor(s) on all mechanical aspects of the piping works. Supervise with EPIC contractor during execution of the piping installation, line check, punch clearing, hydrotest and re-instatement at site. Manage and lead final mechanical completion inspections and punch closing. Supervise the Pre-Com activities to ensure safety and the quality of the completed work. Undertake technical integrity and HSE reviews/audits. Participate in process safety management. Participate in PSSR and provide support to Operations pre & start up activity where instructed. Co-ordinate mobilization of contractors on site. Carryout daily checks on contractor’s staff and work carried out during the previous day in order to ensure compliance with prescribed contractual specifications. Good knowledge in reading and understanding P&ID, GA, ISOs, piping standard drawings (incl support drawings) and Equipment Layout drawings. Maintain a daily record of progress (daily diary) noting special comments. <p>Position Summary: Maintain launch/recover UC-35 Cessna Citation aircraft. <li>Execute and support inspection activities during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset to ensure a safe, efficient and reliable operation of the new facilities by early defect detections in accordance with established policies, procedures, instructions and targets.</li>

<li>Carries out external visual examinations complemented with NDT examination as required on Company equipment such as vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, pressure safety devices, piping, lifting equipment according to Company established policies and procedures and issues inspection reports.</li>
<li>Performs preliminary integrity assessment of static equipment and piping according to Company established policies and procedures, interprets findings and issues inspection reports using Meridium or similar software.</li>
<li>Inspects maintenance and capital project works being carried out in the field, to ensure that established maintenance practices and procedures are followed for welding, painting, fabrication and installation as per policy and in compliance with relevant applicable international codes and standard.</li>
<li>Carries out or supervises NDT tests on mechanical equipment and piping according to the instructions from Supervisor or Corrosion Engineer. Tests include dye penetrant examination, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, hardness tests, eddy current, IRIS, thermography, PMI, Metallography, boroscopy and use of special equipment to determine DFT of paint and ferrometer for stainless steel welding tests and other tests and inspections as required. Follows all required safety procedures while carrying out the work.</li>
<li>Initiates inspection recommendation using Meridium and/or via appropriate notification and tracks progress to completion to ensure mitigation of potential risks.</li>
<li>Maintains company inspection instruments, tools, and equipment in good and operational condition. Coordinates for planning and procuring of additional instruments as required.</li>
<li>Undertakes additional specific inspection related duties as directed by Inspection Engineer/Senior Inspection Engineer to fulfil annual targets and special tasks.</li>
<li>Ensures proper maintenance of inspection reports and records. Maintains various records in the computerized systems, updating inspection test results and other data as required. Implements inspection recommendation by notifications raised through SAP and then tracking the progress until completion of work.</li>
<li>Coordinates and supervises contractor resources team when required to ensure service compliance with company requirements as well as quality of service provided.</li>
