<p>Carries out faultfinding, repair, installation, maintenance, modification and overhaul work on a range of Process Control/Safety Instrumentation System in any Oil &amp; Gas processing plant and Storage &amp; Loading facilities</p><p>Carries out skilled fault-finding, repair, maintenance, installation, testing, calibration, loop checking, overhauls on a range of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic control and safety</p><p>instrumentation systems, process analyzers, DCS, ESD, F&amp;G, SCADA, PLC, Rotating Equipment</p><p>controls, vibration monitoring system, Loading arms controls, Tank gauging and inventory management system, custody meters, Flare ignition controls &amp; flame monitoring and various flare flow meters in oil and gas industry.</p><p>Shall be responsible for obtaining or issuing appropriate Hot or Cold Work Permits and other Certificates as necessary.</p><p>Maintenance of Plant fire &amp;gas detection and protection systems such as flammable &amp; toxic gas sensors, Tank Rim-seal fire detection &amp; protection systems, plant deluge &amp; foam systems, Firewater pump controls, fire alarm systems.</p><p>To complete records of work performed and reports details of installation, workshop overhaul and repair, preventative maintenance, and fault-finding/repair work carried out to Senior Technician.</p><p>Includes completing instrument calibration test sheets, service records and log registers.</p><p>Interpret/mark-up technical drawings.</p><p>To serve on standby duty to attend to urgent instrument problems outside working hours.</p><p>Test equipment calibration and maintenance, exercising good housekeeping in all activities and observing all fire and safety precautions.</p><p>Fully conversant with Permit to work system &amp; shall have Level 1/2 authorization.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, followed by Higher National Certificate or equivalent.
