To provide specialized knowledge skills and expertise and require ensuring safe, effective and efficient operation.<br><br><strong>Operational<br><br></strong><ul><li>Plan assigned activities in an effective and efficient manner, operate equipment or use tooling relative to assigned tasks within framework of Qatar Airways procedures.</li><li>Reviews work procedures, standards and proposes improvements where procedures are not appropriate to ensure work processes are effective.</li><li>Responsible for the final release of work accomplished by the Mechanics. Ensure tasks are performed to meet company/Customer standard and target such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects.</li><li>Ensure delivery standard of QR/customer products are met. Aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures. Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers.</li><li>Implement solutions to technical problems within his range of his authority, and ensure that aircrafts or components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements.</li><li>Provide guidance and or on the job training to the Technicians and Aircraft Mechanics reporting to this position.</li><li>When supervising the wok of others, ensuring that acceptable standard of workmanship and quality are maintained and the correct tools are employed to accomplish the task.<br><br></li></ul><strong>About Qatar Airways Group<br><br></strong>Our story started with four aircraft. Now is the time to bring your best.<br><br>Qualification<br><br><strong>About You<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential<br><br></strong><ul><li>Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or vocation aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering </li><li> Must hold minimum 1 full QR main fleet ICAO/QCAA license and approvals. </li><li>As per company requirement, must arrange to have equipment, heavy vehicle driving license to facilitate Maintenance task requirements.</li><li>Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.</li><li>Using mathematics to solve problems.</li><li>Controlling operations of equipment or systems.</li><li>Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills.
