<p>The Specialist Surgeon will be taking part in delivery of care to the patient both as in-patients and Out-patient basis. They will be part of oncall rota that involves providing front line care by covering the Emergency department and the inpatient services. They will perform Fracture reductions other emergency procedures in ED when required. As oncall doctors they will also assist in Emergency theatres for orthopaedic cases.<br>As for the Outpatient services, they will be expected to run the fracture clinics under supervision of Attending surgeon. There will also be opportunities to see patients in regular elective clinics under supervision. They will be regular elective theatre sessions.<br>For the inpatient services, they will function within the Department of Surgery to assist in the care of the Orthopedic patients. Care is delivered as part of an interprofessional team. The Specialist is responsible for assessment of patients as well as carrying out the care plans. Care is on the wards as well as in the intensive care areas such as PICU, NICU, and ER. There is a variable requirement for the incumbent to work in other areas such as the operating room and clinic. Department: NUQ Production & Digital Media<br><br>Salary/Grade: ITS/79<br><br>The Sr Digital Media Video Specialist at Northwestern University in Qatar (NU_Q) will be responsible for the installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of complex media systems, including photography, digital cinema, TV broadcast, and multimedia productions, under limited or no supervision. Sr The Digital Media Video Specialist will provide in-class support, including assisting and training faculty and students in the use of facilities and equipment such as Canon Cinema cameras, RED Cinema cameras, DSLRs, ENG systems, and advanced lighting equipment, including Aladdin Bi-flex, ARRI Skypanels, and Apurture COB light fixtures. The candidate will provide close mentoring and instruction to students in the use of production equipment to complete their course assignments. Job description:<br><br> Job Purpose Ensure warranties and insurance activities are completed as per contracts and in accordance with Qatar Energy LNG procedures to protect The Company’s and shareholder interests. Key Job Accountabilities Represent the Company with project contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure proper warranty coverage is enforced for assigned projects. Review, prepare and complete the assigned insurance claims for the Company to obtain fair settlements. Develop and execute warranty procedures to ensure all contractual requirements are captured and easily followed. Coordinate and collaborate with the Operations Business Division and with other areas at Qatar Energy LNG OPCO to ensure warranty procedures and responsibilities for contractor dealings are clearly understood. Facilitate the on-time transfer of warranty ownership from the Project Management teams to the Operating Company to ensure handover is completed before Project team demobilization. Conduct trainings for other departments to ensure awareness of and compliance with the Company warranty process. Notify contractors regarding defects or deficiencies for remedy and recovery and to minimize operational risk. Implement a detailed contractor plan to remedy defects or deficiencies, mandate adherence to Company requirements and ensure on-time resolution. Liaise with various Qatar Energy LNG departments (Legal, Contracts & Finance) as required to conduct disputes resolution and recovery of company expenditures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Knowledge and/or Experience 8 years’ experience in engineering, business development, project management, commercial negotiations and/or warranties including 3 years in the oil and gas industry. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a technically complex and multi-venture environment.
About the Role<br>Our client is seeking an experienced and QCHP-eligible Radiographer to join its Radiology department in Doha. This is an excellent opportunity for a diagnostic imaging professional to work within a modern, well-resourced private healthcare setting, delivering high-quality patient care across a range of imaging modalities as part of a multidisciplinary team.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>Perform a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general (plain film) radiography, in line with departmental protocols and radiation safety standards. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including [CR/DR, fluoroscopy, mobile X-ray, CT and/or MRI as applicable], ensuring correct technique and image quality. Position patients accurately for imaging while ensuring comfort, dignity and safety, including for paediatric, elderly and immobile patients. Apply ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles and adhere to radiation protection and dosimetry protocols at all times. Verify patient identity, imaging requests and clinical history prior to each procedure. Prepare and administer contrast media where required, in accordance with departmental protocols and under appropriate clinical supervision. Ensure images are correctly processed, labelled and uploaded to the PACS/RIS system for reporting. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs in line with hospital governance and Qatar regulatory requirements. Participate in quality assurance, equipment calibration checks and infection control procedures. Liaise closely with radiologists, referring clinicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Contribute to an on-call/rotational shift pattern as required by departmental needs, including [weekends/nights/public holidays]. Support the training and supervision of junior radiographers or students where required.<br>Essential Requirements<br>Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Radiography / Diagnostic Radiography / Medical Imaging. Minimum of [2–3] years' post-qualification experience as a practising Radiographer. Current registration/licence in country of origin (e.g. HCPC, CORU, ARRT, AHPRA or equivalent). Eligible for licensure with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) — Ministry of Public Health, Qatar. Proven competence in general radiography; experience in [CT / MRI / mammography / theatre imaging] an advantage. Strong knowledge of radiation safety, infection control and patient care standards. Good command of spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage but not essential. Willingness to relocate to Qatar and undertake all visa, medical and licensing formalities.<br>Desirable<br>Experience working in a GCC or Middle Eastern healthcare setting. Cross-sectional imaging experience (CT/MRI) or specialist certification. Evaluate complex tasks and provide appropriate recommendations to management on issues. Provide support to other disciplines and contribute to other multi-disciplinary tasks. Uphold all Project Philosophies and Procedures and ensure that these are applied to the specification, design and procurement of control systems. Ensure compliance with Company systems and processes including the Company Project Management System and maintain support and adoption of all processes. Prepare plans and work schedules that ensure effective completion of projects. Monitor and provides necessary guidance to the FEED, EPC contractor(s) and all third-party services throughout the project phases. Ensure the facilities are constructed per scope, meeting Company standards and specifications, within the time and project cost approved by the shareholders. Support other engineers in complex analyses and assignments and provide expertise to ensure completion of activities within schedule.
