About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer – Hydrocarbon Accounting (HCA) & Metering to support hydrocarbon accounting, production allocation, measurement validation, and reporting activities within a complex industrial environment. The successful candidate will contribute to production data integrity, hydrocarbon reconciliation, metering performance, digitalization initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes supporting operational and business objectives. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Data Management, Industrial Systems, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience. At least 7 years of experience within the Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Energy, Utilities, or Process Industry sectors. Basic understanding of production operations, hydrocarbon accounting, metering, and production information systems. Familiarity with digital technologies, industrial data systems, and operational reporting environments. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary technical and operational teams. Key Competencies Understanding of hydrocarbon measurement principles and metering systems. Knowledge of mass balance methodologies, production allocation, and hydrocarbon accounting concepts. Experience with Hydrocarbon Accounting platforms such as Energy Components, SAP IS-Oil, or similar systems is advantageous. Strong analytical skills for production data validation, reconciliation, and discrepancy investigation. Familiarity with compliance, governance, and audit requirements related to production reporting. Understanding of industrial operations and production data management. Ability to work effectively with Operations, Production, Metering, Planning, and Digital teams. Interest in digitalization, automation, and data-driven process improvement. Key Responsibilities Support daily hydrocarbon accounting, allocation, and metering activities to ensure accurate production reporting. Validate, analyse, and reconcile production, consumption, inventory, and transfer data from various operational systems. Support daily, monthly, and annual hydrocarbon allocation and production reporting processes. Assist in investigating and resolving measurement, reconciliation, and allocation discrepancies. Maintain and update allocation methodologies, hydrocarbon accounting databases, and reporting models. Support administration and maintenance of hydrocarbon accounting applications and associated production data systems. Participate in reviews of hydrocarbon accounting processes, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives. Support internal, external, partner, and regulatory audits, including the closure of identified findings. Provide reliable production and historical data to support planning, forecasting, and business reporting activities. Participate in digitalization, automation, and reporting optimization projects. Prepare technical documentation, procedures, reports, and operating guidelines related to hydrocarbon accounting. Coordinate with Metering, Operations, Production Planning, Digital, and Commercial teams to ensure data consistency and operational alignment. Ensure quality compliance during site installation, rectification works, and snag clearance. Assist in preparation of handover documents, warranties, and quality dossiers when required. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, approvals, NCRs, and corrective actions. Prepare Inspection Requests (IRs) and ensure timely approvals. The role ensures the availability, security, and reliability of IT services by providing technical support, maintaining hardware and software, resolving network and system issues, and assisting with data center operations.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>* Install, configure, and maintain user workstations, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.<br>* Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.<br>* Provide first and second-level technical support to employees and resolve IT-related incidents in a timely manner.<br>* Monitor and maintain the integrity, availability, and security of IT systems across the organization.<br>* Monitor server performance, network connectivity, and system health.<br>* Assist in the administration and monitoring of Active Directory, user accounts, and access permissions.<br>* Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and preventive maintenance activities.<br>* Assist in managing and monitoring backup systems and ensure successful backup operations.<br>* Monitor and maintain voice recording systems and support call retrieval when required.<br>* Support the administration of ticker systems, market data displays, and information display walls.<br>* Assist with monitoring data center infrastructure, including UPS systems, air conditioning, environmental monitoring, and safety equipment.<br>* Monitor and support CCTV and access control systems.<br>* Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, warranties, inventory, and maintenance contracts.<br>* Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement, maintenance, warranty claims, and technical support.<br>* Evaluate hardware and software solutions for future procurement.<br>* Maintain technical documentation and ensure IT assets are properly tracked.<br>* Participate in developing and improving IT policies, procedures, and operational standards.<br>* Work closely with other IT team members to support business operations.<br>* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and information security standards.<br>* Perform any other duties assigned by management.<br><br>Qualifications & Requirements<br><br>* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br>* Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Technical Support or System Administration.<br>* Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Apple mac OS.<br>* Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.<br>* Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.<br>* Strong experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows desktop and server environments.<br>* Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office applications.<br>* Experience with IT asset management, inventory control, and software licensing.<br>* Experience with hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.<br>* Experience working with network and system monitoring tools.<br>* Experience supporting CCTV and access control systems.<br>* Familiarity with data center operations and environmental monitoring.<br>* Experience coordinating with external vendors for procurement and technical support.<br>* Good documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.<br>* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.<br><br>Preferred Certifications<br><br>* Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) (or its current Microsoft equivalent)<br>* Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) (or its current Microsoft equivalent)<br>* Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)<br>* Comp TIA A+ (preferred)<br>* ITIL Foundation (preferred)
