Role Purpose Lead the development and maintenance of business architecture artefacts that connect GTA strategy, capabilities, value streams, services, processes and organisational responsibilities. You should be comfortable building both the player-facing experience and the backend systems that support it, with clean code that the team can maintain and expand.</p><p>This role involves working closely with our UI designer and environment artist to turn designs and assets into polished, reliable gameplay.</p><p> </p><p>Job Descriptions:</p><p>· Build and maintain gameplay systems using Luau and Roblox Studio.</p><p>· Develop frontend features, including UI functionality, menus, HUDs, transitions, and player interactions.</p><p>· Build backend systems for features such as player data, inventories, progression, rewards, and purchases.</p><p>· Connect frontend interfaces to backend logic so features work consistently across the game.</p><p>· Handle communication between the client and server, with proper validation of player requests.</p><p>· Write organized, reusable code and document systems where needed.</p><p>· Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and edge cases.</p><p>· Test features across desktop, mobile, and other supported devices.</p><p>· Work with the team to estimate tasks, flag technical limitations, and deliver features on schedule.</p><p> </p><p>Skills:</p><p>· Strong proficiency in Luau and Roblox Studio.</p><p>· Experience building both client-side and server-side systems.</p><p>· A solid understanding of Roblox's client-server architecture, RemoteEvents, RemoteFunctions, and data persistence.</p><p>· Experience implementing responsive interfaces and working with Roblox UI components.</p><p>· An understanding of how to protect server systems against exploits and invalid client requests.</p><p>· The ability to debug unfamiliar code and improve existing systems.</p><p>· Good judgment about code structure, performance, and long-term maintenance.</p><p>· Clear communication and the ability to work independently while keeping the team informed.</p><p> </p><p>Useful additional experience:</p><p>Experience with version control, Rojo, automated testing, analytics, matchmaking, or live game updates would be a plus.</p><p> </p>
