Under the authority of the Client HSE-SA/Representative, ensures the export vessel safely transits through the Al Shaheen Field and the mooring/unmooring is executed in a safe and consistent manner as per relevant international and Client standards and in compliance with Al Shaheen Port Regulations and/or anyother Client procedures.<br>General Tasks:Reports to the Company's HSE-SA. Is responsible for maintaining up to date JSA’s and risk assessments. When requested, performs inspections of terminal assets as per Terminal procedures. Responsible for common marine team’s activities and performance’s including their adherence towards Company's HSE policies. Is responsible for FSO support boats introduction to the field including all export related procedures and processes Familiarizes and complies with all Company's rules and regulations as stated in the Company's CMS. Familiarises and complies with all Terminal related processes and procedures Familiarises and complies with all applicable national and international statutory laws. Familiarises and complies with all applicable maritime legislation as per IMO. Familiarises and complies with all applicable OPITO & IMCA standards.<br>In charge of the Common Marine Team (CMT) on each FSO which is composed of 2 Mooring Masters, 1 Mooring Master Assistant, 1 Lead Swimmer, 1 Mechanical Technician, 1 Swimmer, 2 terminal VTS operators, 1 Rigging Supervisor, 1 Rope Access Supervisor, 1 Rope Access Technician and 1 Coxswain.<br>Duties of the CMT are:• Export Vessel Pilotage• Mooring/Unmooring Export Vessels• Export hose connection/disconnection• Level One Maintenance of:SPM & Mooring Hawser Mooring fitting spares & Mooring Masters Toolbox Tandem Hawser Floating hoses<br>The list of the above enumerated tasks and responsibilities is a summary and indicative. The role will support the safe and reliable operation of a large-scale water treatment/desalination facility, with a particular focus on mechanical maintenance of RO systems, pumps, valves, rotating equipment, and associated plant machinery.<p></p> <p>The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in desalination, water treatment, power generation, oil &amp; gas, or other industrial environments, with experience troubleshooting and overhauling mechanical equipment.<br> <br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p> <p> Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.</p> <p> Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, compressors, and piping systems.</p> <p> Maintain RO plant equipment including: High-pressure pumps</p> <p>1. Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance activities, including equipment overhauling, bearing and mechanical seal replacement.</p> <p>2. Experience working with centrifugal, vertical, submersible, and dosing pumps.</p> <p>3. Hands-on experience in the assembly and disassembly of plug valves, butterfly valves, and check valves.</p> <p>4. Knowledge of laser alignment, dial gauge measurements, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.</p> <p>5. Knowledge of pump vibration analysis and predictive maintenance techniques, with hands-on experience in the assembly and disassembly of compressors and motors.</p> <p>6. Working experience with PVDF and CPVC materials.</p> <p>7. Experience in RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems is optional but will be considered an added advantage.</p>
