The role requires strong expertise in structural maintenance, concrete rehabilitation, marine structures, and contractor management while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.<br>This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with hands-on experience in plant maintenance environments who is passionate about driving safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)<br>Champion and promote a strong safety culture in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.<br>Ensure all maintenance and construction activities are executed safely and in accordance with HSE procedures.<br>Participate in safety walks, incident investigations, risk assessments, and hazard identification programs.<br>Identify, report, and proactively mitigate risks within the assigned area of responsibility.<br>Supervision & Execution<br>Provide direct onsite supervision of contractors and subcontractors performing civil maintenance works.<br>Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with approved work procedures, specifications, and project requirements.<br>Monitor workforce productivity, work quality, and adherence to schedules.<br>Support the Structural Engineer in planning, coordinating, and executing civil maintenance activities.<br>Quality & Technical Assurance<br>Ensure all works comply with approved construction drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.<br>Review and assist in the approval of Work Method Statements and maintenance procedures.<br>Verify inspection results and ensure proper implementation of corrective actions.<br>Evaluate defects, damages, and inspection findings, recommending appropriate repair solutions.<br>Recognize structural integrity threats and promptly communicate critical findings to management and engineering teams.<br>Contractor Management<br>Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.<br>Provide technical guidance and clarification regarding contract specifications and project requirements.<br>Coordinate effectively with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of work.<br>Maintenance & Asset Integrity<br>Supervise civil maintenance activities involving:<br>Concrete rehabilitation and repair<br>Structural maintenance<br>Buildings and industrial facilities<br>Marine structures, including jetties and waterfront assets<br>Process plant civil infrastructure<br>Maintain accurate maintenance records, work logs, closeout reports, and documentation.<br>Develop structured work packs and maintenance plans to address technical and operational challenges. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.<br>Minimum 5 years of direct and relevant experience in civil maintenance within the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, Fertilizer, or heavy industrial sectors.<br>At least 3 years in a supervisory role managing maintenance or construction activities. Strong experience in concrete repair, structural maintenance, and marine infrastructure maintenance.<br>Technical Skills<br>Knowledge of civil maintenance practices, inspection techniques, and repair methodologies.
