Job Summary<br><br>The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for leading and overseeing Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across the fertilizer complex to ensure that plant assets, materials, equipment, and construction activities comply with applicable international standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout their lifecycle. The role provides technical assurance for procurement, fabrication, welding, construction, inspection, testing, and material quality, while promoting a proactive "Quality at Source" culture to enhance asset reliability, mechanical integrity, and process safety.<br><br>The position also maintains compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 requirements by implementing and continually improving the Inspection Body Management System, supporting accreditation, and ensuring effective quality management practices across the Asset Integrity function.<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br>Lead and manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities across all QAFCO plants and facilities to ensure compliance with company specifications, international standards, and statutory requirements. Ensure effective quality control of incoming materials, equipment, and spare parts by reviewing material certificates, verifying compliance with specifications, maintaining material traceability, and reporting non-conformities. Expertise needed to take decisions, if any deviations from the specification and Mock test requirement, etc. Monitor the repair and integrity of pressure equipment, piping, and static equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards, including ASME PCC-2, to restore and maintain mechanical integrity. Manage inspection, testing, certification, and performance evaluation of pressure relief devices, and develop optimized inspection scopes using Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies. Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area. Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items. Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers. Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.<br>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p><strong>Core Activity:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Against the requirements of the approved Tactical Fleet plan, and the Fleet Maintenance Plan (where applicable), analysing the maintenance requirements for specific aircraft or components, highlighting and, where practical, resolving any issues and ensuring the timely creation of the Statement of Work (SoW).</li> <li>Developing and maintaining the associated work package(s), including the technical instructions, resource and materiel requirements for the individual maintenance activity. Ensuring independent inspection and safety critical task requirements are documented and appropriately identified.</li> <li>Undertaking the planning of additional and emergent work during maintenance, to ensure work load is managed effectively against schedule requirements. Ensure the Statement of Work is updated and re-authorised to reflect any changes.</li> <li>Working with Fleet Planning, Demand Management, Part 145 organisation, Technical Services, Airworthiness Records and third party suppliers in order to deliver the required standards of continuing airworthiness and contract delivery.</li> <li>Reviewing and reporting on the effectiveness of maintenance task performance in Forward, Depth and Suppliers and escalate any issues as appropriate. Reviewing and reporting on the effectiveness of the SoW, Pre-Input and Post-Output Review Meeting (PIRM &amp; PORM) processes, maintenance task performance and additional/emergent work requirements across all responsible maintenance locations, both On &amp; Off aircraft. Ensuring that any trends are identified and escalated, as appropriate.</li> <li>Ensuring that changes in the Customer s requirements are reviewed for impact on the Maintenance Tasking &amp; Verification activity and implemented appropriately, e.g. Fatigue Life limits, Capability upgrades, Customer-approved modification programmes, etc.</li> <li>Against the requirements defined in the approved SoW, including any amendments where applicable, assessing the maintenance activity detailed in the certificate of maintenance, to assure that all requirements have been completed, or correctly authorised and deferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Performance indicators</strong> Ensure the effective provision of Maintenance Tasking &amp; Verification activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting any impact on Continuing Airworthiness.
