JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVEManage and ensure the successful execution of projects. Primary responsibility is to oversee and implement project management processes, including estimation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting to effectively control project progress and resources.<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESProject Planning & Scheduling Collaborate with project managers, Project engineers and stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, including defining project goals, scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones. Responsible to keep the projects budget forecast updated throughout the project's lifecycle. Prepare the yearly & quarterly budget for projects. Analyse project performance data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement and use this information to make recommendations to Project managers, project engineers and other stakeholders. Update the individual master cost control sheet for Major Projects and keep their financial data accurate through all project phases. Review of projects invoices and validate the progress. Analyse EOT (Extension of Time) claims and change order and assess their impact on schedule. Support Project managers, project engineers and other stakeholders to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Monitor the project for any unforeseen risks and propose corrective actions if necessary. Job Description<br><br>The Service Desk Analyst – L1 is responsible for acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all IT-related incidents and service requests raised by end users. The role involves receiving requests through multiple communication channels, logging and classifying tickets in the ITSM system, providing first-level remote support, and ensuring timely resolution or escalation in accordance with SLAs, SOPs, and ITIL best practices.<br><br>The Service Desk L1 plays a critical role in maintaining service continuity, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with IT Support, NOC, SOC, and Infrastructure teams as required.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all IT incidents and service requests as defined in the Customer Scope of Work (SoW).<br><br>Receive and respond to support requests via phone, email, chat, and ITSM portal.<br><br>Log, categorize, prioritize, and assign tickets accurately In this role, you will drive supplier strategy, control cost and risk, and provide high-level operational and technical support to ensure departmental objectives are met in a demanding construction environment.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Technical & Commercial Evaluation: Lead the evaluation of technical bids, tenders, and comparison sheets to ensure absolute alignment with engineering specifications and project requirements. Strategy & Negotiation: Develop and execute procurement strategies for major project packages, and manage high-value supplier negotiations and framework agreements. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with Engineering, QA/QC, and Project Management teams to resolve technical queries, clear submittals, and ensure compliance with project standards. Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure all procurement technical files, compliance records, and contract terms strictly adhere to company procedures and project specifications. Reporting & Package Tracking: Formulate and maintain detailed procurement status reports, milestone tracking, and commercial evaluations for all assigned packages to provide clear visibility to leadership.<br>Experience & Qualification<br>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.8+ years’ procurement experience in construction/contracting, with senior-level exposure on large-scale projects. Proven track record in Qatar or the GCCStrong capabilities in technical reporting, data synthesis, and package status tracking. Strong command of supplier markets, construction materials, engineering submittals, and contract terms. Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and advanced MS Excel. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Knowledge of API codes, standards & recommended practices (ASME, ISO, API). Skilled in QA/QC documentation, ITP development, NCR handling, and corrective action evaluation. Proficiency in calibration practices and test equipment verification. Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and OEM manuals. Fundamental understanding of rotating equipment repair, inspection, failure analysis, and maintenance practices. Skilled in reviewing/conducting dimensional checks, material traceability, cleanliness inspections, and preparing QA/QC documentation including dossiers and reports. Support development, review, and control of policies, procedures, processes, and specification documents. Participate in internal and external audits; maintain audit readiness and support closure of findings. Track IMS action plans and ensure timely follow‑up and documentation. Support process optimization initiatives and continuous improvement programs. Coordinate All NCR Meetings and Close out Follow ups. Coordinate Supplier NCR and support SCM for Vendor development and Evaluation. Quality, safety, and environmental objectives. Ability to lead initiatives for continual improvement based on data, audit outcomes, and management review inputs. Ability to support and guide departments in implementing changes to processes, documentation, and controls. Ensures changes are communicated, approved, and recorded within the system Ability to support definition of requirements for process‑supporting IT solutions. Confident in advising departments, process owners, and management on IMS topics and requirements.<br><br>You Can Help Us With These Qualifications<br><br>5–7 years of experience in IMS or QA/QC roles within Rotating Equipment / Oil & Gas / Turbomachinery industry. Hands-on experience with inspection, repair, and overhaul of rotating and turbo machinery. Minimum 3 years of experience in management systems or auditing. Strong knowledge of API standards is relevant to rotating equipment. Experience preparing ITPs, QCPs, and QA/QC dossiers. Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point; Power BI is an advantage).
