Observation of weather forecast for rig move window including preload hours. Review of Soil condition reports for location for anticipation of expected penetration. Ensure the jacking system & motors have planned maintenance completed up to date and are ready for operation. The drilling package and cantilever are secured per the rig’s operation manual. Cranes and loose items are secured in accordance with the best seamanship practices while securing watertight doors/hatches during the rig move. Towing is available, maintained up to date equipment is ready and certified as required. Spare equipment should be considered and highlighted if not available.
