About the Role In this role, you'll be the go-to person for maintaining and supporting distributed SCADA systems built on AVEVA System Platform across multiple tunnel sites. You'll help ensure continuity, stability, and compliance—directly contributing to the safe and seamless operation of one of Qatar's key infrastructure networks. What You'll Be Doing Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SCADA nodes and control rooms. Troubleshoot software, communication, alarm, and system performance issues. Handle system patching, backups, redundancy checks, and failover testing. Monitor historian data, alarms, system integrations, and overall SCADA health. Maintain logs, RCA reports, maintenance documentation, and change records. Work closely with OEMs, consultants, and internal teams for improvements and escalations. Support activities related to cybersecurity, asset lifecycle, and system upgrades. What You'll Bring5–6 years of hands-on SCADA maintenance experience (infrastructure/utilities experience is a plus).
