About the Role<br>Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Technical Engineering team as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level 1 who is responsible to deliver aircraft Maintenance activities to directly support flight operations maintenance checks and duties within their authority as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. Responsible for the final release of work accomplished by the Mechanics. Ensure delivery standard of QR/customer products are met. Aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures. Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers. Implement solutions to technical problems within his range of his authority, and ensure that aircrafts or components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements. Provide guidance and or on the job training to the Technicians and Aircraft Mechanics reporting to this position. <strong>QC Coordinator</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> Mesaieed, Qatar<br><strong>Start Date:</strong> First Half of September 2026<br><strong>Contract Duration</strong>: 6 months only<br> <strong>Position Summary</strong><br> We are seeking an experienced <strong>Quality Control (QC) Coordinator</strong> to oversee and coordinate quality control activities for industrial construction, installation, and commissioning works. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all subcontracted works are performed in accordance with approved quality standards, project specifications, inspection requirements, and applicable codes.<br> The role requires close coordination with site teams, subcontractors, inspectors, and stakeholders to ensure that quality objectives are achieved throughout the project lifecycle. <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br> <strong>Quality Management & Coordination</strong><ul><li>Assist subcontractors in establishing and maintaining an effective quality management The Design-Build contract duration is 49 months and the substantial completion is anticipated in December 2025.<br><br>The NEC, a multi-building campus will provide a new Chancery, Marine security guard residence, and support facilities for the Embassy. The scope objective is to design and construct a new American Embassy, with consular services, to replace the existing facility located in Doha, Qatar including a strategy for future expansion. Position Overview<br><br>The Engineering Supervisor supports engineering and facilities operations at Element City Center Doha.<br><br>The role combines hotel equipment maintenance, life-safety checks, guest repair response, and employee support.<br><br>Maintenance and Facilities Duties<br><br>Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment. Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters and operate identified shut-off valves. Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies and maintain inventory and purchase-order logs. Inspect tools, equipment, and machines and record work-related information using computers. Operate a power lift. Complete life-safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests. Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems and assist with disaster response protocols. Respond to guest repair requests.<br><br>Team and Service Duties<br><br>Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Develop positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals. Identify and implement ways to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.<br><br>Preferred Qualifications<br><br>A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred. At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred. At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred. No license or certification is specified.<br><br>Physical and Safety Requirements<br><br>Complete required safety training and certifications. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move up and down stairs or service ramps.<br><br>Workplace and Schedule<br><br>The position is located at Element City Center Doha in Qatar. The schedule is full time. The role is not remote.
