<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <ul> <li>Responsible to manage all offshore heavy lifts and non-routine installations such as Topsides, Jackets and critical subsea installation such as pipeline, umbilical, skids and tie in spools, risers and J-Tubes.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Accountable to ensure that department assigned field projects lifting engineering, coordination, plans, offshore mobilization etc. are conducted in accordance with approved Scope of Work, drawings, engineering design and safety, environment and standards & specifications.</li> <li>Oversee and provide guidance/advice to contractor on all offshore heavy lifts and subsea installation activities to ensure that they are performed as per approved method statements complying with project schedule, quality, and material requirements.</li> <li>Manage and guide the contractor during engineering, review, comment and approve contractor's construction engineering documents in PDMS.</li> <li>Attend engineering workshops such as Constructability review, SIMOPS, Schedule Risk Analysis, 3D Model Reviews, HAZOP, Lifting Plan reviews and provide inputs to ensure that contractor conducts these workshops complying to requirements.</li> <li>Project focal point to manage all lifting activities including coordination with internal stake holders such as PTS, Operations and Project team and external stake holders such as Contractors, third party agencies etc.</li> <li>Participate in all engineering workshops during FEED and EPIC.</li> <li>Ensure Contractor execute offshore heavy lifts, installation in accordance with standards, specifications, and approved drawings.</li> <li>Monitor, control and report Contractor's performance, man-power deployment, plant and equipment's movements, construction slippages etc.</li> <li>Act as the construction Risk Management representative to identify Construction Risk events, the effects & consequences, propose mitigation measures and take ownership to ensure mitigation measures have been implemented at site.</li> <li>Liaise with senior discipline engineers throughout all phases of the project for offshore lifting related matters including inputs during the detailed engineering and procurement stages.</li> <li>Review contractors' lifting plans, certificates, schedules, method statements, procedures etc. to ensure compliance with project as well as requirements.</li> <li>Maintain a daily record of progress noting special comments.</li> <li>Reports to supervisor work anomalies or contractual deviations committed by contractor personnel and recommend corrective actions.</li> <li>Monitor and control of work permits to ensure that contractor compliance with conditions fixed on consolidated work permits.</li> <li>Interact and interface with other contractors, projects, departments regularly to identify and resolve all offshore lifting related matters especially liaison with operations, PTS and approved agencies.</li> <li>Support in development of new standards, specifications, guidelines etc. and support enhancement of existing corporate documents.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Sc. (or) Higher National Diploma (or) Diploma in Mechanical (or) Petroleum Engineering in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University discipline or equivalent plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction.</li> <li>Candidate should have a minimum of 10 to 12 years overall experience in coordination and supervision of offshore heavy lifts, non-routine lifts and offshore installation of EPIC projects such as Oil and Gas Production / wellhead platforms, Jackets and subsea installations.
