We are currently hiring for an Offshore HSE Superintendent 1 position based Offshore, Qatar.<br> <br>For further information about this position please apply.<br><br>Location: Doha Offshore<br> Mob date: 1st August 2026<br>Demob date: 31st December 2026<br><br> <br>Job Purpose<br>The job holder manages, under the responsibility of Worksite CSR and Package HSE Lead, all construction activities related to the Ruya Batch 1 contract and shall demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE rules & requirements and for implementing HSE rules within his area of responsibility.<br>The job holder will facilitate the offshore management of the EPCI(C) contractors by reinforcing each Package team and coordinating the preparation, readiness, and execution of all offshore operations.<br> <br>Key Accountabilities<br>The job holder is accountable for the following activities during project execution:<br>As responsible of the HSE team, he fully understands, develops and promotes HSE policy (Incident Free + program, Life Saving rules, etc.), culture and objectives for the project.<br>HSE supervision of the daily construction activities on the worksite<br>Special HSE focus on scaffolding activities and working on height + lifting and rigging and Confined Space Entry activities<br>Manage HSE supervisors on the worksite,<br>Being “visible in the field” and “walking the talk” with HSE as a priority.<br>Adhere to and effectively communicate Projects HSE Policies.<br>Intervene where HSE deficiencies are identified and report.<br>Be promoter of HSE on sites as a priority.<br>Attend Project HSE meetings, training and inspection as when invited to.<br>Consult Construction and HSE team in the execution and planning of key critical activities<br>Work closely with the Head Projects HSE to promote the realization of the Projects HSE objectives.<br> <br>Key Accountabilities<br>HSE Supervision of the Construction activities: ensure that the work is carried out in compliance with company values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed compay priorities and objectives, company standards and procedures and good industry practices.<br>Perform, in a regular basis, Health & Safety inspections in compliance with CPY HSE policy and<br> expectations<br>Perform HSE audits in accordance with Contract requirements<br> Ensure that all works are performed without any risk for surrounding areas.<br>Encourage and promote HSE practices improvement during construction phase<br>Perform and establish good communication between Company and Contractor<br>Able to prepare and perform presentation & Inductions<br>Manage an organization to cover all HSE aspects of activities on contractor construction yard,<br>Ensure timely review of HSE aspect of construction documentation<br>High class HSE administration skills, Training / Incident investigation / Cause Tree Analysis lead & reporting etc.<br>Promote of the Project HSE policies including of safety observations incl. the close outs as well housekeeping activities<br>Follow-up on mandatory HSE trainings for Company and Contractor’s staff<br>Participate in development of bridging documentation for offshore campaign<br>Promote and participate to HSE communications and workshops as part of safety culture program<br> implementation<br>Ensure that all site personnel wearing appropriate PPE<br> Ensure robust control of co-activity is implemented in yard<br>Participate to risk assessments workshop for construction activities, implementation of mitigations<br> measures and early identification of new risks<br>Ensure identification of risks due to operational changes and implementation of management of<br> changes procedures with associated risks analysis.<br>Control and participate in Toolbox meetings<br>Check and monitoring of environmental conditions are correct implemented and maintained during the whole Construction phase<br>Participate and observe of Emergency drills organized by Contractor<br>Participate to regular yard coordination meetings to report HSE activities for all disciplines<br>Participate and report on hygiene and safety tours<br>Maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary<br> to achieve the HSE objectives of the Project,<br>Report all HSE related activities (KPI, incidents registration etc) to hierarchy.<br>To carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors.<br>Ensure that all activities related to working on heights are performed in a controlled and safe manner<br> <br>Education<br>Bachelor’s degree in health and safety or NEBOSH IGC or equivalent<br> <br>Certification<br>H2S and TBOSIET (if required)<br> <br>Experience<br>Professional Experience (number of years): 15<br><br>People are our business worldwide<br> <br>Orion Group was founded in 1987 and is now one of the largest, independent, international recruitment companies. Co-ordinates and monitors the activities of his Insulation Foremen/Charge hand. Performs Quality Assurance/Control to a standard established by COMPANY. Co-ordinates the daily running of hot and cold insulation works of his insulation crew . Includes planning and scheduling routine work, responding to emergency work, obtains permits for vehicle entry, cold work, man entry, obtaining materials, approves Material Requisitions, etc. Ensures that the standard and quality of work executed by his team (Insulation) including cladding, foam injection, sheet metal work, housekeeping etc., are carried out at minimum cost and that substandard/ rejected workmanship is not costed to COMPANY Account.
