<p>Purpose:</p><br>
<p>The Export Sales Manager is tasked to successfully achieve sales targets. He Should meet with customers to understand their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company's relationship with them. He should promote a customer focus culture within the company departments, while he is attached to a constant respect of the law and internal rules, Nexans values & Nexans local image.</p><br> <p><strong>Areas of responsibility</strong> </p><br> <ul><li>Elaborates the export sales development plan based on:</li><li>Results achieved in the past years,</li><li>Company roadmap and trends (customer segmentation, priority targets, etc.),</li><li>Evolutions of product and service offers for each market segment. </li><li>Manages, animates and controls sales according to the defined sales plan.</li><li>Participates in main contracts and negotiations for major customers.</li><li>Supports sales activities by comforting relationship with major accounts</li><li>Creates new opportunities in the zone being covered</li><li>Develops new business through networking and follow-up calls.</li><li>Manages the interface with tendering department by bringing back up information on customers, products, competitors and markets.</li></ul>

<li>Manages the interface with plants and supply chain for full alignment:</li>

<ul><li>Review terms and conditions of contracts </li><li>Review payment terms with finance especially when it is a Letter of credit</li></ul>
<ul>
<li>keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.</li>
<li>Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules... etc.</li>
<li>Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.</li>
<li>Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying Net sweeper Product knowledge to meet those needs.</li>
<li>Prepare a GMP8 report and TRC presentation for MEGA projects to be presented to management. </li>
</ul> <p><strong>Required skills and qualifications </strong></p><br> <p>Electrical Engineering degree is preferable</p><br>
<p>Exposure to cables field, utilities and O&G sector is a plus</p><br>
<p>Advanced knowledge of the Middle East countries </p><br>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li><p>Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion goals.</p></li><li><p>Identify new international markets, distributors, agents, and business partners in the GCC, or markets with high potential in volumes/revenue</p></li><li><p>Manage and grow relationships with existing export clients, distributors, and co-packing parteners.</p></li><li><p>Prepare export sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with international food safety standards and regulations (FDA, HACCP, ISO, Halal, Codex, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Coordinate product registrations, labeling compliance, and documentation for different countries.</p></li><li><p>Stay updated on international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export laws.</p></li></ul><br><ul><li><p>Oversee export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, health certificates, and shipping documents.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with production, QA, logistics, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipments.</p></li><li><p>Monitor shipping schedules, lead times, and cost optimization.</p></li><li><p>Develop export pricing strategies considering duties, freight, exchange rates, and market competitiveness.</p></li><li><p>Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and Incoterms with international customers.</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely collections and manage export receivables.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with marketing and R&D teams to adapt products, packaging, and labeling for export markets.</p></li><li><p>Support new product launches in international markets.</p></li><li><p>Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meetings.</p></li><li><p>Lead and guide export sales executives or coordinators (if applicable).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual export performance reports for management.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Food Technology, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>5–10 years of experience in export sales, preferably in food manufacturing.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of international food regulations and export documentation.</p></li><li><p>Experience in Middle East, Africa, Asia, or Europe export markets</p></li><li><p>Experience handling distributors and overseas clients.</p></li><li><p>Experience in developing private label and co-packing projects from inception to launch</p></li><li><p>Strong negotiation and communication skills</p></li><li><p>Understanding of food safety standards and certifications</p></li></ul><p></p></section>

Prepare quotations, negotiate prices and commercial terms, and close sales. Handle export orders and coordinate with logistics, shipping, finance and production teams. Monitor international market trends, competitor activities and product pricing. Develop new territories and achieve agreed export sales targets. Participate in international exhibitions, customer visits and business-development activities.<br>Requirements:<br>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Export Sales / International Sales. Experience in Base Oil, Lubricants, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Petroleum Products or Oil & Gas is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of international B2B sales and business development. Experience dealing with international distributors, traders and industrial customers. Knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, LC/TT and international shipping. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Strong English communication skills.
