Organize supply rack, including pots, pans, serving spoons, utensils, etc. Rotate stock, bringing wares from storage bin or areas into kitchen. Complete cleaning checklists to determine appropriate timelines for cleaning and sanitizing. Collect dirty pans from the cooking line and transport to pot station for cleaning. Clean and maintain sanitation areas and organize cleaning supplies including hanging up mops and brooms. Clean and maintain loading dock areas. Clean ceiling, walls, and vents in dish room. Ensure clean wares are stored appropriately. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.<br>Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model. <li><strong>Create exceptional pastry and dessert offerings:</strong> Prepare, bake, decorate, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and confectionery items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency in quality and appearance.</li>
<li><strong>Supervise and support the pastry team:</strong> Guide and assist junior pastry chefs and commis chefs, providing training and support while helping to maintain efficient workflow in the pastry section.</li>
<li><strong>Maintain a clean and organised pastry kitchen:</strong> Ensure all workstations, equipment, and storage areas are clean, tidy, and maintained to the highest hygiene standards, preventing cross-contamination.</li>
<li><strong>Ensure product quality and stock control:</strong> Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients, ensure correct storage procedures, manage stock rotation, and report shortages or wastage promptly.</li>
<li><strong>Assist with cost control and production planning:</strong> Help minimise waste, manage portion control, and contribute to achieving food cost targets while maintaining product quality and consistency.</li>
<li><strong>Uphold food safety and compliance standards:</strong> Adhere to all food safety, health and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining a safe working environment for both team members and guests.</li>

Primary Purpose Of The Job<br><br>Perform duties as a Watch Commander to direct and motivate teams responding to fires, rescues and other emergency situations to prevent escalation as quickly as possible. Design and formulate drills and exercises within the community to develop individual and team competencies to the benefit of the industrial cities community and within a safe working environment.<br><br>Direct the on-station watch in the performance of routine and non-routine duties, including emergency operations, exercises, drills, emergency vehicle operation and preparedness activities.<br><br>Required Experience And Skills<br><br>Successfully completed Basic Fire Fighter 1 & 2 (NFPA 1001) & Breathing Apparatus Wearer course. Successfully completed NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor 1 & NFPA Fire Officer 1 & 2Qualified First Aider to first responder (CPR with AED) level. Minimum 7 years as a Fire-Fighter or equivalent in a commercial or industrial Fire-Fighter environment, civil, or military fire service or three years as leading fire-fighter in QP. Possess a valid driving License - preferably Heavy Vehicle. Technical skills -- must be able to use broad range of modern equipment for firefighting and rescue. The ability to rapidly information on arrival at an incident in conditions may be dangerous and confusing and accordingly dictate instructions to the on-scene crews. Understanding for the victims of fire and accident and able to cope with distressing circumstances. Intermediate Language ( (QP L4) both spoken and written.<br><br>Educational Qualifications<br><br>Completed secondary school education.
