About the Role Guildhall is hiring for an infrastructure operator running a multi-year road operations and maintenance contract in the GCC. The person in this seat will own pavement condition data end to end pulling from ARAN and LCMS survey systems and turning it into the maintenance schedules that keep a live road network in spec. The contract is in an active phase, and the client needs pavement data capability in place now to establish the condition baseline. It is a rare seat: full ownership of the data layer behind a decade-long O&M programme, not a short survey assignment.

The role Own pavement condition data analysis across a live, long-term road O&M contract in the GCC. Manage large datasets from ARAN and LCMS pavement survey systems Validate survey data for accuracy and consistency before it reaches planning Convert condition data into maintenance prioritisation and technical reports Coordinate with engineering and O&M teams on maintenance recommendations

Why apply through Guildhall Boutique executive search firm in Dubai, established 2010 8x independent industry awards since 2020 4.9-star Google rating from over 250 reviews Direct access to the retained consultant running this search Hiring a Pavement Data Engineer in Qatar Pavement Data Engineers sit inside road operations and maintenance contracts, usually reporting to an O&M or asset management lead. They own the pavement condition dataset collected through systems such as ARAN and LCMS and turn it into the maintenance plan that keeps a road network within its contracted performance standard. As GCC governments move more road networks onto long-term O&M contracts, demand for engineers who can run this data pipeline, rather than just collect the survey, has grown. Most hires come from a pavement engineering or road asset management background with several years on live O&M projects. Common questions

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline 5 10 years in pavement engineering, data analysis, or road asset management Hands-on experience with ARAN pavement data collection and analysis tools LCMS or LCMS-2 platform experience strongly preferred Prior GCC or international road or O&M project experience is an advantage

Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Mechanical / Electrical Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team. This role is responsible for the daily hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical water treatment systems, including Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems, water softeners, and UV disinfection facilities.
A significant portion of this role involves servicing medical and hospital environments, requiring a high level of reliability, attention to hygiene standards, and the ability to maintain critical ultrapure water systems without disrupting facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all mechanical and electrical components (pumps, valves, blowers, dosing systems, and control panels).
System Troubleshooting: Swiftly diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns and electrical faults to minimize system downtime.
Specialized Water Treatment Operations: Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) chemical cleaning procedures for RO membranes, recharge/backwash water softeners, and replace UV lamps and quartz sleeves.
2. Hospital & Medical Facility Compliance
Ultrapure Water Oversight: Monitor, maintain, and log parameters for medical-grade and ultrapure water systems, ensuring strict compliance with hospital and healthcare water quality standards.
Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to rigorous infection control, health, safety, and environmental standards required when working inside active medical facilities and wastewater plants.
3. Site Logs & Reporting
Data Tracking: Maintain accurate daily logs of water quality parameters, chemical consumption, pressure differentials, and maintenance work orders.
Team Coordination: Work closely with the O&M Engineer / Coordinator to report site conditions, spare parts requirements, and potential operational risks.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on technical experience maintaining water treatment systems (RO, STP, Softeners, UV) with clear exposure to medical, hospital, or pharmaceutical environments.
Education/Certification: Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent trade experience).
Technical Competencies:
Electrical: Ability to read electrical drawings, troubleshoot control circuits, test relays, and work safely with 3-phase power, motors, and PLC panels.
Mechanical: Strong plumbing, piping, and mechanical repair skills (shaft alignments, seal replacements, pump overhauls).
Process: Solid understanding of CIP protocols and water softening cycles.
Attributes: High reliability, disciplined adherence to safety protocols, and a clean, professional demeanor suitable for customer-facing medical environments.
Availability: Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service responses.
