Global connections: join experts around the world who are at the leading edge of our industry, shaping the standards of our profession<br><br>Typical Responsibilities<br><br>Act as the focal point with the client and any contractor Project Controllers as appropriate, to ensure costs and progress are reported accurately, ensure alignment with the project reporting requirements and timely and accurate cost and progress reporting Preparation of Planning Support Package Managing the overall project CTR budget and cost Propose, agree and manage agreed payment plan including milestone payments. Preparing and issuance of Project Invoice(s) Preparation of Project Controls procedures as project requirements Weekly and Monthly schedule and cost Reporting (using EVM) of planned v’s actual progress figures including forecasting Monitor cost and schedule impact of achievement / non achievement of project milestones Identification, monitoring, and reporting against the project critical path providing early warning to the Project Manager of any potential slippages Develop and maintain project Work Breakdown Structure for specific scopes of work Develop and maintain cost and planning control structures in alignment with project Work Breakdown Structure Manage the project work approval process in terms of accurate cost code allocation and initial budget set - up and approvals Responsible for the timely control and forecasting of budgets and ensure that the impact of all change requests is properly assessed and included in the budget and schedules if applicable Assist Project Accountants and Billing Specialists in the Billing process and any other cost related queries Assist with application of baseline and forecast installation unit rates and norms for estimating quantity change impacts Supports earned value progress measurement May assist with updates and changes to project quantities and reports on variances to baseline Production and overall maintenance of project S - Curves and Histograms Creation of the projects fully resourced, logic linked Gantt Charts within preferred planning software to the agreed project and programme requirements Perform progress updates of the project Gantt charts. Be comfortable navigating the following technology stack: Python3, Scala Spark, Hadoop, SQL, S3 etc. Familiar with general Machine Learning concepts and common models - ie, regularization, Tree Models, etc Familiar with statistical analysis concepts - ie, p-value, z-score, etc Analytical problem-solving capabilities & experience. They ensure cost control in their assigned projects.<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES<br>Engineering & Project Management Activities:<br>Plan, prioritize, execute, monitor, and control all their assigned projects' activities in either the role of project coordinator or member required to meet the project objectives with relevant quality, within specified time schedule, scope, cost, design basis & specifications, risks, health, safety, energy, and environment requirements according to Handling of Project procedures, Delegation of Authority, and project execution manual.<br>To ensure necessary communication with project requisitioner, internal & external stakeholders, team members, production, and maintenance representatives for smooth execution of projects.<br>Ensure regular reporting on projects (cost, schedule, cost phasing, forecasting, accruals, KPIs, scorecard variations etc.) and conduct regular review meetings<br>Applications for Engineering Standards:<br>Identify and follow relevant codes & standards, design basis, specifications, engineering procedure, technical requirements, and good engineering practices to execute projects.<br>To work along with Engineering Section to develop and conduct systematic and thorough review of engineering deliverables and support to site execution of project works.<br>Procurement, Contract Co-ordination, and Bid Evaluation:<br>Identify and follow the right Contract execution strategy, identify relevant suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective purchases.<br>Develop all deliverables for the tendering process of equipment and services. Conduct technical evaluations and necessary approvals. Assist in commercial evaluation of bids. Ensure all procedures and governance are compiled to during the tendering and after award till successful completion of all Contracts.<br>Leadership Role:Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University<br>10+ years of direct and relevant discipline experience in large EPCC projects related to oil/gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industries.
