This role ensures that guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and structural elements are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics, directly impacting the guest experience.<br><br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li><strong>Routine Maintenance & Repairs:</strong> Repair broken furniture, doors, windows, cabinetry, drywall, and wooden flooring in guest rooms and public areas.<br></li><li><strong>Installation & Construction:</strong> Build and install new shelving, cabinets, drywall, trim, molding, and framework as required for hotel renovations or upgrades.<br></li><li><strong>Hardware Maintenance:</strong> Repair and replace door locks, hinges, closers, handles, and automatic door mechanisms.<br></li><li><strong>Preventative Maintenance (PM):</strong> Participate in the hotel’s PM program, systematically inspecting guest rooms and public spaces to identify and fix structural or cosmetic woodwork issues before they affect guests.<br></li><li><strong>Event & Banquet Support:</strong> Assist the events team by building, modifying, or repairing stages, props, partitions, and specialized signage for conferences and banquets.<br></li><li><strong>Safety & Compliance:</strong> Ensure all work complies with local building codes, fire regulations, and occupational safety standards (OSHA). <p>Operations & Coordination</p>
<ul>
<li>Support the resolution of Tier 1 operational issues within established guidelines to ensure customer and supplier satisfaction.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Finance and Logistics teams to ensure timely product deliveries, ordering, and payment collections from customers.</li>
<li>Conduct regular market visits to customers assigned by the Line Manager, including professionals, finance teams, purchasers, and other relevant stakeholders involved with the assigned brands/products.</li>
<li>Present, promote, and clearly explain all products related to the assigned brands to professionals, purchasers, and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring accurate and professional product knowledge is delivered to customers.</li>
<li>Maintain detailed log sheets for all activities, including dedicated records for call-off contracts, purchase orders, and multi-delivery POs, and collect the same from team members reporting to him/her if applicable.</li>
<li>Update Salesforce daily and ensure invoiced sales are updated on a weekly basis.</li>
<li>BUM can decide to assign big or strategic project/task/tender/RFQ to line managers or respective employee as appropriate.</li>
<li>Ensure timely invoicing, deliveries, installation, and operational support of products at customer sites.</li>
<li>Follow up on order timelines and support adherence to delivery and project deadlines.</li>
<li>Support the Project Team in executing related projects and operational activities.</li>

<p>We are seeking an experienced Lead Planning Engineer to join a major Buildings and Infrastructure project.</p><p><strong>Role & Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Development & Implementation of efficient Planning Functions, such as Work Break down Structure, Master schedule review, Manpower Histograms & Cost loading, Progress Measurement System and coordination.</li><li>Able to generate tabular and graphic reports for baseline targets and actual earned values and forecasting.</li><li>Production of project status reports and management of project dashboards</li><li>Liaise with Project Management to support teams and monitor performance to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.</li><li>Review of Time Extension Claims, Forensic analysis of schedules, Risk analysis and Continuous improvement strategies.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Project Control experience to help ensure key project deliverables.</li><li>MMUP accreditation and experience of minimum 8 years in the role of planning & project control.</li><li>Strong level of working knowledge with Primavera (Certification as a Primavera Planner Professional is needed).</li><li>Competencies in working with PIMBOK Revision 5 (PMI registration will be well regarded).</li><li>Knowledge of PIMBOK Revision 6, is appreciated.</li><li>A team player who is hungry to develop and achieve with a growing business.</li><li>You will be a confident self-starter, with natural leadership abilities coupled with exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary, innovative environment where your input shapes both standardised and bespoke solutions.</li><li>Join a team that values knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and professional excellence.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor s degree in relevant field</p>
