Provide necessary support during any incident analysis, failure investigations etc. Ensure SIMOPS, Various project interfaces so that shutdown activities are properly planned for effective execution. Support development of Qatari teams.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering specialized in Static and Piping. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable. Minimum 15 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 10 years in Oil & Gas industry with an international reputable Operating company. Experience in operations and maintenance is mandatory. Skill / knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or QP standards related to his area of expertise and Design Software related to Mechanical Static / Piping Engineering such as Stress Analysis software, etc. Exposure with international consulting company, EPIC contractor with projects' pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and Hand-over activities is an added advantage. Possess sound fundamentals in his discipline area. Shall possess very good technical skills in his discipline. Possess good communication, presentation skills and fluent in English language.</p>
<p>Conduct Materials & Corrosion Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to; engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning. Ensure the required Company technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies are incorporated and followed, in work-scopes and whilst conducting Materials & Corrosion Engineering activities. Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices. PLANNING ENGINEER – MECHANICAL
JOB PURPOSE
<p>Supervise and lead the planning, scheduling, resource management, <strong>mechanical maintenance contract management, contractor supervision, and site execution</strong> of routine, preventive, corrective, turnaround, and major mechanical maintenance activities.</p><br>
<p>The position shall provide strong coordination between Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, Engineering, Inspection, Procurement, Contracts, HSE, and mechanical maintenance contractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, within approved <strong>schedule, budget, quality, and contractual requirements</strong>.</p><br>
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Mechanical Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

6. Mechanical Equipment & Spare Parts Planning

7. Reliability & Mechanical Maintenance Improvement

All works is executed to a high quality & auditable standard that is consistent with the companies integrated management systems and policies.
