Ensures that the documentation for the design remains accurate and current during the development of the design. Reviews the design to ensure that user's requirements are met. Identifies opportunities to solve problems through applying engineering knowledge. Identifies professional risks, statutory responsibilities and liabilities. Ensures that the supporting documentation required to implement the design is accurate, concise, complete and clear. Prepares MTOs and BOQs. Must be available for offshore site surveys. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage<br><br>Industry Specific Experience<br><br>Structural engineering experience in oil and gas for offshore projects Offshore Structural engineering experience in the industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams. Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas. Prior experience with marine and port infrastructure such as quay walls, jetties, dolphins and pavements would be preferred.<br><br>IT Skills<br><br>STAAD. At least 15 years of experience in complex product development, including regulated products. Advanced Solid Works proficiency. Demonstrated track record as a lead/principal engineer or product design of medical devices from concept through launch. Strong expertise in injection molding and RIM molding (part design, materials, DFM, cosmetic and structural considerations). Strong experience with medical devices under FDA/ISO 13485 or equivalent regulatory frameworks. Manage electrical engineering project requirements. Manage electrical engineering services such as:participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures;ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes;provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation. Act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects. If responsible for a team:outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; andensure the required services meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget. Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its Customer's requirements. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering. If required, assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team. Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer. MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage<br><br>Industry Specific Experience<br><br>Must have vast experience in Electrical design and engineering of oil & gas / large industrial projects in Onshore projects. Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts. Experience in MV cable sizing based on IEC60287 using CYMECAP will be an added advantage.
