AV Designer / AV Solution Developer<br>We are looking for an experienced AV Designer / AV Solution Developer to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities Lead AV shop drawing preparation and submissions. Review tender documents, specifications, and RFQs. Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Develop detailed AV system schematics and technical designs. Provide technical support and coordination with project teams. Prepare design progress reports and drawing logs. The Mechanical Engineering (MEEN) Program of Texas A&M University at Qatar (http://www.qatar.tamu.edu/) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the assistant level. The position is in the areas of robotics and autonomous systems, with preference given to candidates with expertise in emerging technologies with novel theoretical developments and practical applications, such as industrial robotics; control, autonomous systems; intelligent robotics for exploration, manufacturing, and construction; advanced sensor and actuation technologies; mechatronics and human-machine interaction and applications of artificial intelligence to robotics and autonomous systems. Faculty at Texas A&M University Qatar Campus (TAMUQ) are of two types: instructional track and research track. This position is a research-track position at the assistant level. The official title for this position is Research Assistant Professor, with the working title of Engineering Assistant Professor. Research-track faculty at TAMUQ are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and develop an independent research program, as well as to engage through scholarship within the university and their discipline.<br><br>This non-tenure track position assumes a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of Spring 2024 or Fall 2024, depending on the applicant's availability. The hired faculty member is eligible to receive a startup package that covers the summer salary for three years.
