Role :The Manager AI Products is the primary builder within the AI Hub, responsible for turning architectural designs and product specifications into working, production-deployed AI systems. This role spans the full technical stack of modern AI engineering: training and fine-tuning ML models, building LLM powered applications, developing agentic workflows, and integrating AI solutions with Ooredoo's enterprise platform ecosystem. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all hotel/departmental policies, service procedures and standards, ensuring that associates are informed as well. Take responsibility for the co-ordination and monitoring of all meetings, from initial booking where possible through to post-conference evaluation and account settlement. Liaise with Sales Department at point of initial negotiations with client to assist Sales Department in providing profitable and efficient proposals that are in line with hotel guidelines. Administration of all MICE and catering business with close liaison with client, rooms, sales, reservations departments. Compile and issue to all operating departments the BEOs and Group summaries for all events at least 5 working days prior to the event. Communicate all information through regular follow-up with client to review banquet room allocations and expected guest numbers and communicate to all concerned departments. Arrange group check-ins in liaison with the Front Office Manager. Conduct pre – and post event briefings and communicate any comments relevant to the specific “event(s)” to all Departments concerned to improve addressed shortfalls, if any, within the operation. Review all daily Food & Beverage and Conference charges posted to relevant accounts during each convention, meeting or incentive, to ensure that all charges are in line with the BEO. Consult with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef to prepare menus which will attract business and yield a satisfactory profit (custom made menus). Attending weekly BEO meeting including Event Sales and Services Executives, Banquet Manager, Banquet Chefs, and Chief Steward, to finalize all details of upcoming functions. Be aware of cyclical events and be pro-active in planning. Ensure accurate response to proposals within 24 hours and deliver a high level of guest service standard at all times in the Catering & Events Sales department. Ensure that leads are followed up in a timely and professional manner (48 hours after sending the enquiry). Ensure an effective handover of client’s conference requirements and contract details from Sales Managers and Catering & Events team to the Operations Team. Maintain a high level of service by constantly training and coaching all direct reports and associates. To maintain all resort records, forms and policies as prescribed by management. To maintain and improve administrative standards of the Department. Properly maintain the function sheet folder and monitor all additions, deletions and changes of status. Monitor and update menu maintenance. Remain flexible in any changes presented by a client in respect to their planned or unplanned activities / functions. Meet conference organizers daily before and after the event to confirm details. React with urgency to any requests of the client to ensure maximum satisfaction during their conference. Attend to details and follow-up on any requirements of the client in regard to engineering, outside contracts, entertainers, florist, audio visual, freight arrangements (incoming and outgoing), storage facilities, restaurant bookings, and any internal or external communication between parties that is necessary. To ensure guest satisfaction and handle guest complaints. To establish outstanding guest relations. Report for duty punctually wearing correct uniform and name badge at all times. Provide courteous, professional service to external and internal clients at all times. Maintain good working relationships with own colleagues and all departments. Possess a comprehensive understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s policy relating to Fire and Emergency, Hygiene, Health and Safety. Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams across Feasibility/ Concept, FEED and Detailed Design phases. Direct the preparation and quality of engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope, standards, and schedule requirements. Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant design output, meeting customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Review and approve engineering execution strategies, project organization structures, and discipline responsibilities. Prepare and implement the Engineering management Plan on projects and ensure discipline schedules/budgets include safety and sustainability activities for the asset lifecycle. Manage technical Value Improvement Practices (VIPs) - technology selection, value engineering, energy optimization, RAM, etc.<br><br>Cross-Discipline Coordination & Interface Management<br><br>Provide overall integration across engineering disciplines, ensuring effective sequencing and interface management. Establish and maintain engineering coordination procedures with internal teams, licensors, contractors, and stakeholders. Oversee and manage interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and third-party contractors. Ensure structured communication and resolution of technical queries and inter-disciplinary conflicts.<br><br>Technical Governance & Quality Assurance<br><br>Ensure engineering activities comply with Worley standards, international codes, and customer specifications Must ensure maintaining engineering quality assurance processes, including document control, review cycles, and approval timelines. Lead the review and approval of key engineering documents, ensuring compliance with HSSEQ, operability, maintainability, and technical integrity requirements. Must ensure and participate in design reviews, safety studies, and technical assurance activities. Ensure required Technical Peer Reviews (TPRs) are planned, scheduled, and budgeted; proactively engage Location Director of Engineering when needed.<br><br>Project Management & Delivery<br><br>Overall key technical interface with customer management teams. Support the safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery of engineering scope across all project phases. Monitor engineering progress against schedule, budget, and deliverable milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans. Provide technical and commercial input to optimize design solutions and manage project risks. Ensure alignment between engineering outputs and project controls (cost, schedule, procurement needs). Maintain engineering registers for assumptions, holds, technical queries, deviations, key document changes, and SEAL decisions.<br><br>HSSEQ & Compliance<br><br>Champion Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality culture within engineering activities. Ensure designs incorporate safe, sustainable, and environmentally compliant solutions. Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks and standards.<br><br>Team Leadership & Capability<br><br>Lead, mentor, and develop multi-location engineering teams, ensuring effective resource allocation and competency. Ensure teams are appropriately staffed and aligned with project requirements. Foster collaboration across disciplines, offices, and stakeholders. Capture and implement lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.<br><br>Education<br><br>Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline of Engineering from an accredited University. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage. MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.<br><br>Job Specific Knowledge , Experience & Competencies<br><br>Significant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sector projects. Must have proven experience as Project Engineering Manager / Engineering Manager on Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering projects during the last five years. Strong exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering and global delivery teams.<br><br>Technical & Functional Competencies<br><br>Strong understanding of engineering governance, execution planning, and design assurance. Extensive knowledge of cross-discipline integration, interfaces, and sequencing. Experience in engineering deliverables, specifications, and design review processes. Solid understanding of project lifecycle phases (Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Design, EPC). Familiarity with industry standards and customer specifications. Experience in risk management, change management, and technical decision-making.<br><br>Leadership & Behavioral Competencies<br><br>Strong leadership capability with ability to manage diverse, multi-location teams.
