The Senior Cybersecurity Assurance Consultant is responsible for leading, planning, and enhancing assurance services, ensuring effective delivery of cybersecurity, information security, and compliance assessment activities. The role translates strategic objectives into operational programs, manages assurance teams, and ensures continuous improvement of processes aligned with national and international standards. The position also plays a key role in stakeholder engagement, accreditation support (including NISCF), and coordination across departments to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance outcomes.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Planning, directing, monitoring, improvement and maintenance of assurance service. Translate the strategic direction from the department head into actionable projects and programs. Provide solutions for challenges encountered in the operation and promotion of assurance services. Continuously assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department operations. Manage the teams with in the department and ensure effective Resource Management. Coordinate with other departments on matters concerning the delivery of projects and operations. Develop and plan department objectives and key results. Manage the tasks and assignments among the NISCF team. Assist in setting up efficient and effective operation of NISCF assurance services. Manage, mentor and lead the NISCF resources and certification/accreditation specialists, providing operational guidance, professional development, and capability enhancement<br><br>Requirements<br><br>Education & Experience:<br><br>Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or related field, or minimum 18 years of relevant experience. At least 5 years of experience in audit and assurance. Minimum 4 years of assessment or auditing experience in a specialized field. Proven hands-on experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT audit, and assurance.<br><br>Technical & Professional Skills<br><br>Strong knowledge of risk management and compliance assessment. Familiarity with international standards (ISO 27001, COBIT, NIA, Common Criteria, etc.). Knowledge of accreditation and certification standards (ISO 17021, 17024, 17025, 17065, 27006). Experience in governance, regulatory compliance, and management system development. Project management and team leadership experience. Professional certifications in auditing, compliance, or risk management (preferred). Job Description<br><br> Inspect structural works on-site including concrete, steel, formwork, rebar, precast elements, and associated civil infrastructure. Monitor contractors’ activities to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, materials, and relevant specifications. <p>We're launching a new e-commerce vertical for home within QIC digital hub and are looking for a Product Owner who can take this from 0 1: someone who's seen how this space works at scale and can bring both the playbook and the judgment to adapt it to our context.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Own the product strategy and roadmap for the Home vertical end-to-end, from concept through launch and scale</li><li>Define the MVP, prioritize features, and drive fast iteration cycles based on user and market feedback</li><li>Build the business case: market sizing, unit economics, monetisation model, competitive positioning</li><li>Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and commercial/partnerships teams to ship</li><li>Set up and own key product metrics (conversion, GMV, retention, listing quality, etc.) and report against them</li><li>Identify and manage strategic partnerships (developers, agencies, banks/mortgage providers, if relevant)</li><li>Build and eventually lead a small team as the vertical matures</li></ul><p>We offer</p><ul><li>Long-term service agreement contract with QIC with 3 months probation period</li><li>We are diverse our digital nomads work remotely from 25+ different countries</li><li>Payment in US dollars monthly to your bank account using SWIFT</li><li>Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezone</li><li>Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 vacation days, 10 sick offs</li><li>Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise</li><li>Potential opportunity to apply for a Qatar ID and relocation to Doha, Qatar</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>3-5+ years in product management or product strategy, ideally with direct experience in real estate/home e-commerce or classifieds</li><li>Track record of launching a product or vertical from scratch</li><li>Strong commercial and analytical instincts comfortable building a business case and reading unit economics</li><li>High ownership and drive genuinely energised by ambiguity and building something new, not just executing a defined roadmap</li><li>Sound judgment and stakeholder maturity able to hold their own with senior leadership and cross-functional teams</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English</li></ul>
