Site Audits & Operational Reviews</b><br></p><br><ul><li>Conduct periodic site visits to verify:<br></li></ul><p>Ø Physical progress vs reported progress<br></p><br><p>Ø Inventory and material controls<br></p><br><p>Ø Site-level compliance with policies and safety procedures (high-level review)<br></p><br><ul><li>Identify operational inefficiencies and leakages at site level<br></li></ul><p><b>6. Reporting & Follow-Up</b><br></p><br><ul><li>Prepare clear, concise audit reports highlighting key risks and actionable recommendations<br></li><li>Track implementation of audit recommendations and report status to Head of Internal Audit<br></li><li>Escalate critical findings and control weaknesses in a timely manner<br></li></ul><p><b>7. <br><p><strong><u>About the role:</u></strong></p><br><p>Accountable and responsible to review, analyse, draft and negotiate contracts in conjunction with internal departments, including Qatar Airways’ Group Legal Department. Provide and clearly communicate impartial legal advice on commercial, corporate, and construction law matters in relation to a variety of contracts across Qatar Airways Group and its subsidiaries ("QR"). Understand, interpret, and apply applicable laws, regulations and industry standards to QR's current and future business model. Ensure that contracts entered into comply with all applicable laws, policies and procedures and minimize company's exposure to risk.</p><br><p><strong><u>Key responsibilities</u></strong></p><br><ul><li><p>Review contractual templates from a contract law perspective, covering various legal jurisdictions, including but not limited to the State of Qatar and England and Wales.</p></li><li><p>Negotiate and draft a wide variety of commercial agreements.</p></li><li><p>Draft, negotiate and manage contracts in accordance with corporate requirements, supporting legal requirements and procedures to secure and protect the business interests of the company in matters related to commercial contracts.</p></li><li><p>Review, draft and negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers for a variety of services, including but not limited to facilities management, IT, manpower supply, equipment supplies and professional services.</p></li><li><p>Identify commercial and legal risks and escalate matters when appropriate.</p></li><li><p>Resolve any disputes which arise and identify areas for improvement in company's contracting processes.</p></li><li><p>Effectively manage external counsel.</p></li><li><p>Review third party terms and conditions and assist internal stakeholders to interpret contractual provisions as part of the dispute resolution process.</p></li><li><p>Advise and assist internal stakeholders at all stages of the RFP process, including but not limited to, selecting the appropriate legal terms and conditions; negotiating requested deviations to QR's standard contract terms and preparing the final contract package upon award.</p></li><li><p>Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><strong><u>About you:</u></strong></p><br><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience.</p></li><li><p>Must be qualified as a lawyer in a recognized jurisdiction.</p></li><li><p>Must have work experience in a law firm or dedicated legal environment.</p></li><li><p>Relevant experience in a similar position.</p></li><li><p>Strong legal drafting skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent commercial legal knowledge relating to general commercial contracts and construction contracts.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in MS Office package, particularly MS Word.</p></li><li><p>Keen eye for detail and strong presentation skills.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record of handling complex issues and negotiation.</p></li><li><p>Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.</p></li><li><p>A self-starter.</p></li><li><p>Flexible in approach, with a “can-do” attitude.</p></li><li><p>Contracting and negotiating skills to the highest standard. We currently have an opportunity for a QA/QC Engineer role. This position is based in Qatar onshore.<br> <br>Duration Two (2) year initial contract with a possibility of extension.<br>Work location Onshore (Ras Laffan/Doha HQ)<br> <br>Key Job Accountabilities<br>Provide expertise and support the QA/QC implementation under Operations Expansion Start-Up department (OES) involving quality of engineering, design, procurement, construction, installation of new equipment and repair, modifications of onshore and offshore facilities, consistent with the Codes, Standards, Specifications and Company Policies and Procedures.<br>Context of the role is to provide technical supports to end user in the field of Material, Metallurgy, Fabrication, Welding, NDT and Auditing.<br>Assessment and judgement on resolving concerns for the planned / unplanned equipment, piping repairs and modifications.<br>Ensuring material quality from procurement stage to final receipt at company facility.<br>Coordinate the activities of QA/QC Inspectors, contract hired engineers/inspectors and NDT Technicians, in compliance with procedure requirements.<br>Conduct metallurgical failure analysis on failed plant or offshore components to establish the cause of failure and recommendations.<br>Provide expertise and support for QA/QC matters related to procurement of materials and equipment. Review purchase requisition for inspection and certification requirements, technical bid evaluation, appointment of Third-Party Inspection (TPI) inspectors and ensuring the inspection of material receiving at warehouse.<br>Analyse and review all critical repair instructions including Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and QA/QC reports that are generated by QA/QC inspectors and engineers, listing alternative testing and inspection methods as applicable for repair or modification.<br>Participate and provide necessary inputs for startup readiness, lessons learnt, Formal Risk Assessment (FRA), Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) from QA/QC perspective.<br>Provide technical input on the Scope of Work (SOW) for maintenance contracts related to repair and modification works, participating in Technical Bid evaluations for the contracts, reviewing all Contractor documents and ensuring compliance to QA/QC requirements. <br>Coordinate and perform technical audits as requested on suppliers’ and contractors’ Quality Management Systems, providing technical evaluation and recommendation, conducting follow up for the observations and corrective actions. Purpose and Scope: <br><br>The Programmer is to provide planning, project programming and other administrative duties as required by a USAF engineering contract. This position will be in support of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) and it is located at Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB), Doha, Qatar.<br><br>Essential Responsibilities: <br><br>Provide planning, project programming and other administrative duties as required by the contract. Program all projects IAW latest AFCENT Business Rules for the Execution of the Integrated Priority List guidance and DAFI 32-1020, Planning and Programming Built Infrastructure Projects and support the facility board process by participating in meetings, preparing briefings, and inspections. Must prepare, maintain and document approval documents, records, reports, and data associated with project programming and make available upon request from the Customer. In conjunction with the real property accountable officer, the Programmer will provide a recommendation to the Government regarding if capitalization of any of the project work is necessary. If the Government concurs that capitalization is necessary, the Programmer will initiate a draft DD Form 1354, Transfer and Acceptance of Military Real Property, identifying all work needing to be capitalized. Will provide all programming documents to include draft DD Form 1391, DD Form 1354 (draft) and/or AF Form 300 (as applicable) within 30 calendar days of WRRB approval with no more than two (2) missed due dates allowed per month. Will assist with the development and maintenance of project data files (including complete project requirements, justification, and environmental compliance criteria data) within Nex Gen IT or other database as designated by the Customer. <p>The Accountability Manager , as part of the Project Management Group (PMG) serves as the Program level staff proponent for munitions accountability processes. Manages the Munitions Stock Record Accounts for the Contract. Assists in the development of plans and policies of the Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS). Assists the Munitions Functional Manager in overall management of the Munitions Program. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). Principal Accountabilities Is the single accountability focal point and is responsible for munitions accountability across the GPMS Contract in accordance with USAF standards and the PWS.
