Works with individual lead discipline engineer to develop budgets, schedules and plans for the various elements of a project. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans. Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule. Risk Management Identify project risks and opportunities. Monitor closure of all identified risks and opportunities. Maintain the risk management focus throughout the project duration Design Management Set clear objectives for the design team. Ensure design team are aware of, and are complying with, customer's Basis of Design and applicable regulations and codes. Monitor design activities, inter-discipline data flow and communications Procurement/Subcontracts Management Set clear objectives for the procurement and subcontracts team. Assess procurement process throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification and are delivered on time and are within budget. Overview Seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer / Quality Manager with 12+ years of experience in quality assurance and quality control management for large-scale construction projects, including mission-critical data centers. The role will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality management systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements, while supporting successful project delivery and handover. Your role Implement and manage project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes in accordance with project requirements and quality standards. Review and monitor contractor Quality Management Plans (QMP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and method statements. Ensure construction activities comply with approved specifications, drawings, contract requirements, and applicable standards. Oversee material inspections, testing activities, factory inspections, and site acceptance processes. Review and verify inspection requests, test reports, certificates, and quality documentation submitted by contractors. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and preventive action processes, ensuring timely closure. Conduct regular quality audits and surveillance inspections to assess compliance with quality management systems and site procedures. Monitor execution of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and specialist systems installations for quality compliance. Verify compliance of construction activities with approved method statements and inspection requirements. Coordinate with resident engineers, discipline engineers, contractors, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues. Identify quality risks, recurring issues, and process improvement opportunities, recommending corrective measures where necessary. Prepare quality performance reports, audit findings, inspection summaries, and KPI dashboards for project management and clients. Maintain accurate quality records, inspection logs, material approval registers, and project documentation. Support testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and operational readiness activities from a quality assurance perspective. Review handover documentation, as-built records, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and quality dossiers. Verify project closeout documentation and ensure final quality dossiers are complete and compliant with contractual requirements. Participate in client audits, authority inspections, and final acceptance processes. About You Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certification preferred. Data Centre experience is Preferred.12+ years of experience. QA/QC management, ITPs, NCR/CAR control, material inspections, method statement compliance, audits, quality reporting, handover records and final dossier review.
