<li>To inspect the materials to the PO requirements (Technical Specification, certification, packaging, and the physical condition) and conduct the inspection outcome.</li>

<li>Independently responsible for Materials inspected. Shall be able to justify queries / rejections from warehouses or end users and resolve the issues.</li>
<li>Carry out Preservation Inspection and of stock material Inspection as required from time to time and submit inspection reports.</li>
<li>Shall be able to Drive the Car and make inspection visits to the Warehouse locations as directed.</li>
<li>Responsible for housekeeping of Inspection area in compliance to HSE regulations.</li>
<li>Adhere to section work / guidelines to perform the inspection activities.</li>
<li>Prepare section weekly / monthly reports and submit to Sr. Material Engineer (Insp)</li>

<li>Knowledge of General Engineering Practices / International Codes & Standards.</li>
<li>Well-versed and thorough knowledge in relevant International Standards API, ASME, ISO, NEMA, IEEE, IEC, NFPA, BASEEFA, ATEX, ANSI, ASTM, TEMA, BS and related codes / standards / specifications & statutory regulations.</li>
<li>Able to understand and interpret Company specifications & regulations required to deliver the job function effectively.</li>
<li>Good command of certification requirements for various materials and plant equipment.</li>
<li>Capable of interpreting technical drawings, data sheets and specifications.</li>
<li>Good written and spoken English, problem-solving skills, technical communication and interpersonal skills.</li>

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The supervision, direction and management of resources under his jurisdiction to achieve the most effective maintenance, and the management of the shift resources to ensure leave, training, sickness, and other absences are adequately covered to provide optimum shift coverage.</p>
<p>Exercising his license/approval in relation to the accomplishment of scheduled, unscheduled maintenance and rectification of defects, to ensure maintenance is accomplished to the required standard and the operating program is achieved in an efficient and safe manner. The recording and issues Certificate of Release to service the work accomplished in accordance with the current TPM, QE, CPM and other third- party customer procedure and legislation.</p>
<p>Viewing the work and resources allocated and required to ensure expedient rectification of defect utilizing allocated staff.</p>
<p>Effective management of the aircraft technical team.</p>
<p>Accountable for the total performance of the group under his supervision.</p>
<p>Advise the Maintenance Manager of any impending issues or areas of concern that may have an impact aircraft and in particular cabin system serviceability.</p>
<p>Responsible for the final release of work while ensuring tasks are performed to meet QE standards and targets such as aircraft availability, system reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects.</p>
<p>Review work procedures, equipment and standards to propose improvements to ensure work processes are effective.</p>
<p>Implement solutions to technical problems within his range of operations.</p>
<p>Provide assistance to other QE departments, as required, to define, develop and prepare maintenance work packages.</p>
<p>Ensure aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance company policies and procedures, with special focus on documenting maintenance activities.</p>
<p>Work together with OEM's, vendors and supplier to find solutions to defects and/or problems affecting the operation of the aircraft.</p>
<p>Train and develop other employees, for proper succession planning and risk management.</p>

Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the piping discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: <br><br>Full-Time bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university. MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. ICT</strong>, seconded to our client from government sector in <strong>Doha, Qatar</strong>.</span></p><br><p><span>The role will support the Senior ICT Engineer in ensuring the availability, performance, security and resilience of RMC ICT infrastructure, including data centre environments, networks, virtualized platforms, hardware, software and associated systems supporting Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).</span></p><br><p><span>We envisage success in this role to include;</span></p><br><ul><li><span>Monitoring and supporting <strong>Road Management Centre (RMC)</strong> systems to ensure required performance, availability and service levels.</span></li><li><span>Reviewing and witnessing <strong>ITS project commissioning</strong>, ensuring RMC hosting, configuration and network infrastructure meet Ashghal specifications and performance requirements.</span></li><li><span>Supporting the Senior ICT Engineer in the <strong>investigation, analysis and design</strong> of new projects and existing ITS assets, ensuring RMC infrastructure can meet required compute, network, storage and backup needs.</span></li><li><span>Supporting the management and performance monitoring of the <strong>RMC ICT and infrastructure maintenance contractor</strong>, ensuring availability targets for LAN, hardware and software systems are achieved.</span></li><li><span>Monitoring preventive maintenance activities and ensuring secondary and contingency measures are available and operational for RMC/DR control rooms and data centre equipment.</span></li><li><span>Monitoring the configuration and management of <strong>RMC virtualized environments</strong>, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and effective monitoring and alerting.</span></li><li><span>Monitoring <strong>RMC/DR firewall configurations and hardware change controls</strong>, ensuring changes are properly documented in line with ICT best practices.</span></li><li><span>Reviewing plans, specifications and estimates for roadway <strong>ITS implementation projects</strong>, assessing the suitability of RMC/DR data centre hardware and infrastructure and identifying additional resource requirements.</span></li><li><span>Supporting the resolution of technical issues, including substandard products, and providing <strong>technical guidance</strong> to project team members.</span></li><li><span>Coordinating with Ashghal ISD to ensure RMC operational technology aligns with IT security requirements and management measures.</span></li><li><span>Supporting studies on <strong>hosting options, cloud readiness and optimal ICT architectures</strong> for RMC environments.</span></li><li><span>Identifying technology trends and recommending improvements to the efficiency, reliability and performance of RMC and DR data centre environments.</span></li><li><span>Providing technical input into <strong>troubleshooting, fault investigation and triage</strong> activities and undertaking technical work within the scope of competence.</span></li><li><span>Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and applying these to support professional development.</span></li><li><span>Adhering to Health & Safety policies, procedures and work instructions.</span></li></ul> <br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><p><span>To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include<strong> 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years’ specialist experience in ICT infrastructure.</strong> partnered with a <strong>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant discipline</strong>.</span></p><br><ul><li><span>Holding <strong>Chartered Membership</strong> of an engineering or relevant professional body is advantageous.</span></li><li><span>Holding <strong>CCNA or equivalent certification</strong> related to network hardware, software and telemetry systems.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrating experience in <strong>data centre environments, virtualization, network infrastructure and service availability management</strong>.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrating experience in monitoring ICT infrastructure, fault management systems and maintenance contractors.</span></li><li><span>Establishing strong working relationships with <strong>clients, contractors, stakeholders and project teams</strong> and effectively supporting change.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrating the ability to influence and engage stakeholders and staff at all levels.</span></li><li><span>Being proficient in <strong>Microsoft Office, network management and fault management systems</strong>.</span></li><li><span>Communicating effectively in <strong>written and spoken English</strong>; Arabic language skills are preferred.</span></li></ul><p><span>KEO’s performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety and our people.
