The Mechanical Engineering (MEEN) Program of Texas A&M University at Qatar (http://www.qatar.tamu.edu/) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the assistant level. The position is in the areas of robotics and autonomous systems, with preference given to candidates with expertise in emerging technologies with novel theoretical developments and practical applications, such as industrial robotics; control, autonomous systems; intelligent robotics for exploration, manufacturing, and construction; advanced sensor and actuation technologies; mechatronics and human-machine interaction and applications of artificial intelligence to robotics and autonomous systems. Faculty at Texas A&M University Qatar Campus (TAMUQ) are of two types: instructional track and research track. This position is a research-track position at the assistant level. The official title for this position is Research Assistant Professor, with the working title of Engineering Assistant Professor. Research-track faculty at TAMUQ are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and develop an independent research program, as well as to engage through scholarship within the university and their discipline.<br><br>This non-tenure track position assumes a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of Spring 2024 or Fall 2024, depending on the applicant's availability. The hired faculty member is eligible to receive a startup package that covers the summer salary for three years. Following this period, faculty members at Texas A&M at Qatar have a 9-month appointment and may cover the salary of the remaining months from externally funded grants and/or teaching and services.<br><br>The Mechanical Engineering Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar (hqatar.tamu.edu/programs/mechanical-engineering/) currently has 10 faculty members who have a strong commitment to teaching, research, and service. <p>Role Objective
The incumbent will represent the Bank's IT application section and is responsible for understanding and agreeing project objectives and organization interests. The role requires strong technical knowledge of the bank's IT ecosystem, with particular depth in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) systems and Treasury applications, as well as familiarity with surrounding and interfacing systems. The job holder will liaise with Project Manager, Vendor, and Business Teams throughout the project lifecycle to track progress and ensure timely delivery. They will also ensure compliance-related system BAU operations and IT support are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Working as a Consultant for Compliance related applications and projects.
• Perform evaluation on business requirements to determine best suitable solution to fulfill business requirements.
• Analyzing technical and functional requirements received from Business Teams.
• Help Business teams in the development of BCD/ BRD.
• Coordination with vendor and business to resolve day to day issues in compliance applications.
• Detailed analysis of all business cases received on ad hoc basis.
• To develop, manage and maintain effective working relationships with IT teams and business stakeholders for efficient systems support.
• Verify if all business requirements are being catered in the vendor proposals.
• Prepare SIT test cases and perform related SIT testing before releasing it for UAT with business users.
• Conduct UAT with relevant Business users.
• Ensure all UAT issues are fixed to obtain business user signoffs.

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert on AML transaction monitoring and screening systems, supporting configuration, tuning, and enhancement activities.
• Support and maintain Treasury systems and related surrounding applications, ensuring seamless integration with front-office, back-office, and risk management platforms.
• Understand and document the end-to-end data flows between AML, Treasury, core banking, and other surrounding systems to support effective troubleshooting and enhancement.
• Leverage experience with specific banking platforms — including Kondor (treasury management), Kiya (digital banking), and NetReveal (AML transaction monitoring / screening) — to accelerate delivery and provide platform-specific guidance. (Prior hands-on experience with any of these platforms is a strong advantage.)
• Apply knowledge of other bank enterprise systems (e.g., core banking, payments, risk, reporting, SWIFT messaging) to ensure cross-functional compatibility and integration quality. Knowledge of additional systems beyond AML and Treasury is a valued plus.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and solution architectures against the bank's existing technical landscape, flagging risks or integration gaps related to AML, Treasury, or surrounding systems.
• Participate in technical design discussions, providing input on system architecture, APIs, data formats, and middleware relevant to AML and Treasury platforms.
• Other responsibilities which are assigned by Line Manager.</p><p>Required Qualifications & Technical Experience:
REQUIRED – Previous Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of demonstrated, hands-on experience in banking IT, specifically supporting or implementing enterprise banking applications.
REQUIRED – AML Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of AML/CFT compliance systems, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer due diligence (CDD), and case management workflows. Familiarity with regulatory expectations and how they translate into system requirements within a bank's IT environment.
REQUIRED – Treasury Systems Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of treasury management systems, including front-office deal capture, back-office settlement, risk management (market risk, liquidity), and interface with general ledger and core banking platforms.
REQUIRED – Integration & Surrounding Systems Awareness: Understanding of the systems that interact with AML and Treasury platforms, including core banking, payments infrastructure (SWIFT, local clearing), data warehouses, reporting engines, and middleware / ESB layers.
ADVANTAGE – Kondor (Treasury Management System): Hands-on experience with Finastra Kondor (formerly Kondor+) for front-to-back treasury operations is a significant advantage, including deal capture, position management, P&L, and integration with back-office systems.
ADVANTAGE – NetReveal and Kiya (AML Transaction Monitoring / Screening): Prior implementation or support experience with BAE Systems NetReveal (or equivalent AML platforms such as NICE Actimize, Kiya, Oracle FCCM, or Temenos Financial Crime Mitigation) is highly desirable.

We work closely with Commercial, Product, Data, and regional Marketing teams to ensure campaigns are efficiently executed, performance is clearly measured, and partners receive actionable, data‑driven recommendations that drive value for both Agoda and our partners.<br><br>Our mission is to balance operational excellence with growth impact — building repeatable, scalable frameworks that allow us to support dozens of partners at once, while still delivering insights tailored to each partner’s performance and business context.<br><br>Due to continued expansion, there are multiple analyst roles within the marketing team across different marketing channels. While the scope will vary depending on these channels, here are some examples: <br><br>Experimentation and optimizing campaign performance: Experiment with ads/campaign structures and bidding& pricing strategies on partners such as Google, Bing, Tripadvisor, Trivago and other search engines. Adapt to new product features and roll out changes from successful tests. Modeling: Analyze vast amounts of data generated by experiments, develop predictive models using data science techniques (eg. understanding impact on bookings from large scale TV campaigns or demand elasticity from pricing optimization) and liaise with product teams on implementation roadmap Reporting, analysis and insights: Building dashboards to track performance, derive insights, understand growth levers and communicate recommendations via presentations to stakeholders<br><br>What you’ll Need to Succeed: <br><br>Bachelor’s degree or higher from top university in a quantitative subject (computer science, mathematics, engineering business or science) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English2+ years experience in data crunching from top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity or strategy/business for a fast-growing globaltech company Experience in one or more data analysis packages or databases, eg., SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, SQL and visualization tools, eg.
