JOB SUMMARYThe Psychiatrist - Child and Adolescent is responsible for the delivery of high quality evidence-based care; effective and efficient diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the role holder’s care. The Psychiatrist - Child and Adolescent makes recommendations, orders appropriate therapeutics and diagnostics as per the patient’s diagnosed condition. Liaises with colleagues, allied health staff, nursing, administrative and support services staff for additional input as required. Provides after-hours on-call coverage on a rotation basis with other clinicians in the Department. The Dermatologist will provide comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatology services, including diagnosing and treating skin, hair, and nail conditions, and managing acute and chronic dermatologic diseases. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing clinical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role also involves performing dermatologic and cosmetic procedures, counseling patients on skincare and prevention, documenting care in medical records, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The Dermatologist is expected to maintain high standards of patient safety, adhere to regulatory and ethical guidelines, and participate in continuing professional development.<br>Qualifications<br> Strong foundation in Medicine and Dermatology, with demonstrated ability to diagnose and manage a broad range of skin conditions. Specialized expertise in Acne and related disorders, with skills in developing evidence-based treatment plans for diverse patient populations. Recognized medical degree and completion of accredited dermatology residency or equivalent training. Valid license or eligibility for licensure to practice medicine and dermatology in Qatar.
