Execute the project according to the project plan.</span></li> <li><span>Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.</span></li> <li><span>Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff within the hospital on the progress of the project, prepare progress reports for senior management.</span></li> <li><span>Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards. </span></li> <li><span>Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.</span></li> <li><span>Write progress reports on the project for senior management. </span></li> <li><span>Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies. Responsible for hospital plants, chillers, HVAC systems, civil works, mechanical jobs, electrical jobs, plumbing, carpentry, etc.</span></li> <li><span>Maintenance records of Inventory engineering equipment in Asset plus database. </span></li> <li><span>Manage equipment Service Contracts, warranty compliance and department SLA’s. </span></li> <li><span>In collaboration with project manager, develop policies and procedures for the Hospital engineering section.</span></li> <li><span>Prepares technical specifications, tender review and evaluation for the purchase of new engineering equipment and projects. Commissioning and installation of newly purchased hospital engineering equipment.</span></li> <li><span>Liaises with finance to finalize annual budgets. Produce weekly, monthly, and annual reports for Hospital Project Manager.</span></li> <li><span>Assume or accept any other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor within the position role and responsibility.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong><u>Job Specific Skills: -</u></strong></span></p><br><p><span>Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or biomedical engineering or equivalent. Additional supplementing equipment specific training provided by recognized training organizations including manufacturers or training centers is an added advantage/preferred. Minimum 4 to 6 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry. Knowledge of equipment procurement processes including specification writing and tender analysis. Previous hospital experience is highly preferable. Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders. Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms.</span> <span>Computer skills. Competent in use of electronic test equipment for biomedical service. Ability to work under pressure and handle difficulties and problems. Professionally groomed to project a positive image. Desire to embrace a culture of excellence, collaboration, and communication.
